I have just booked my BA for 19th August...(so excited). I havent had any pre op info yet and just wondered what you were all told about drinking before the op. I have a day at the races planned for 14th August and would normally have used that as an excuse to drink Chapagne all day, but thought i might have to stop drinking 7 days before?? Can anyone confirm? :(

I was told 7 days.Make sure to check.Each surgeon may be different.

Thanks for that ladies. Its about thinning blood isnt it... Seeing the sugeon on the 12th so i can double check...Lets hope he says 48 hours and not 7 days or I will be gutted! lol.

If your a smoker,check on that to.I'm not a smoker but I know you have to quit a month or so before if you are.It can cause healing issues and even nipple/areola death.There are pics online and it's a scarey thing.
