Only a dream for me :-( GUTTED!!!!!!! :-(

Well I was soooooo excited for my BA tomorrow. I've rushed out this morning in a panic and bought all the last minute bits I need for the big day and came home only to receive a phone call saying my op has been cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo angry!!!!!!!!!
They have offered me another date but to be honest I don't really want to take it because I am so annoyed with them! I have 4 children and my family have all booked days off work to help me look after them and I have booked days off work to recover and they think they can just go and change the date like that the day before I am due to have my op!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't afford to go anywhere else so it looks like my BA dream has come to an end before it's even happened
I am so gutted girls I can't tell you!!!!!!!! But I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has given me advice on here, you are all lovely ladies and I wish you all lots of look with your new additions x x x

owww hunny thats terrible, i know how you feel re the organising works time off and the kids what a nitemare for you, can they not offer you another of their surgeons for the same day? did thye give a reason?

wtf?! surely thats not aloud???!!!! i'm annoyed for you too! thats so disapointing who were you going with and what excuse did they give you? i've heard of girls being cancelled on a week or so before but never the day before! thats so unprofessional and makes me sick. love and hugs are being sent your way!

oh no! My op was briefly cancelled as well the day before but i did complain and my surgeon put some pressure on the nurses to discharge someone so i could come in!

Don't cancel it totally just cos of this... you family can take other days off and it will not kill them! In a years time they will have forgotten they took 2 days off... they probably like the excuse :))

I am feeling a little better now I have calmed down a bit. I am booked with Birkdale Clinic with Helena. The worse thing is, they couldn't even give me an excuse!!!!!!! The receptionist just said that she had got an email off Helena telling her to phone me and cancel and that was it!!!!!
I am so annoyed, they are treating it like its a nail or hair appointment! They have got no idea how nervous and excited I was getting! I couldn't sleep last night! But yeah like you said mytime, everything happens for a reason! They have offered me the 18th so I suppose its not too long to wait! I did try to be stubborn and say that I couldn't make that date because of work and hoped that they would pull a few strings for me but instead they offered me a full refund! That was even more gutting! Because I know I can't afford to go anywhere else as this was such a bargain!!! But think I will go ahead and take the date they have given me (if it's still there of course!)
Thank you all for your comments though it has made me feel a bit better and calmed me down lol!!! I was so angry! But ur right I shouldn't give up on what I want just because of one little blip!

Hey hun, I'm really sorry to hear that they have cancelled it.

Can you not call them back and say that no, you are paying them and have everything arranged with childcare etc and they cannot cancel at such short notice for no reason!!!

I know the 18th isn't that long to wait but even so it is still hassle of everyone having to re book the time off etc.

Oh my god, shockin!! U must b devastated! Transform rang me about a mth b4 sayin my surgeon had to go home for a week and I could either have another surgeon or wait til the wk after! I was so angry and told them I was going for another consultation with another surgeon, they offered me £150 off and then I told them I could get it elsewhere for £200 less so they knocked the full £200. I know it's not the same but don't cancel it wil work out in the end! Can you not try and get some more money off 2?? xx

Hey there your having your B.A at a clinc near me ...but i used the birkdale clinc off to get The hospital Group to give a good price cos they matched it



I have read a heck of alot about the Birkdale clinic the only surgen i would trust there is helena coz Ive hear really good reports about her work ...how ever i wasnt offered her so i didnt go with them.



I can tell you that i do know 2 people personally who have had the B.A done at the birkdale clinc by helena and i must say her work is fab ...Coz i had no idea that the 2 ladies i know had , had a B.A done ...so she is good . They look brilliantly natural .



I would say defo go for the date the offered you it will be worth it xx

Rach I did try that but they said the only alternative would be to give me a full refund and basically send me on my way
So I have decided (with lots of help from the ladies on here) to go ahead and take the alternative date they offered me! Its not far away now!
Nyssa I was thinking about asking for a bit of money off for all the messing about they have caused me but because I am already only paying £2,000 its still a lot cheaper than everywhere else so I decided not to. I'm a soft **naughty word** really lol!
Mio I can't believe THG matched Birkdales price for you! That's FAB!!!! If I'd have known I stood a chance getting someone else to a similar price I would have booked a consultation lol! Bet you were well chuffed! I have also heard lots of good things about Helena that's why I want to stick with her! It's nice to hear that you have actually seen her work though and have said such good things about it. It makes you feel a lot better knowing that people are happy about your surgeons work!

How frusterating that must be, I find it hard to comprehend that they think they just change your date and so last minute... you are so right we have paid a lot of money, this is a big deal, with recovery time needed. I find it very disrespectful!

My situation is really annoying! They just don't seem to think about how much a of a big deal it is for us!
