Pick my implant!Pictures!

As you know I found out the doctor put in Mod's instead of a higher profile implant that we had decided on prior to surgery.I'd like your opinion on what I should get put in when I re-op.I want to get as close as possible to my before lift/implant projection.Right now they are full and round with a good cup size but they are too flat on my chest wall.They look great in a bra,bathing suit or undressed but once I put a shirt on they just don't project like I want them to.I'm very tall (just over 5' 10" and a U.S. size 6) so a bigger implant won't be an issue.Any ideas would be appreciated.Just let me know what brand,profile and CC's you'd think might work for me.I want to stick with saline unders as well.My rib cage is 32.5" and the fullest part of my bust is 42".

I know when I spoke to my ps once about going to a higher profile implant he said if I took the high profiles instead of my mod profile I would have to go up 100-150cc... I am tall too about 5'10 and wear a 32 band bra I currently have 540cc which gave me the look I wanted, I had it in my head I wanted to be DD I measure a G cup but I think I look like DD's. I got the look I wanted but would love to have choosen those extra 100cc's!
sorry, I rambled on a bit, my point was do you think that going up 100-150cc in the higher profile would give you want you want? x

I forgot to add that the reason for going up in size when going up in profile was due to my chest and breast width, I would need those extra cc's to fill out the width, which you loose a bit of going up in projection.

i agree that the high profiles will give you the side projection that your after, your boobies as you say look lovvely and full from the from but i can see what you mean re projection- the hp will sort that out for you though.
are you sticking with the same size implant but just going h/p as they really seem to be a nice size on you the ones in your piccys.

Find out the width of the implants you have now and get high profile with the same width.

Great info girls! So you all agree that if I stick with saline HP it will work if I go up in CC's?Would you think I'd need them in a 600HP as they will be unders and it seems like unders look smaller than overs and less projected as well.Plus this will keep me at a good width then sarahdawn31?I don't mind going up in CC's if it gets the look I want :)
Do you think the HP will still give me a nice shape and not look bad on me and my body size?

I know this sounds silly,but it has stressed me out since I first saw them.My hubby is very unhappy as well which makes matters even worse on me.He thinks I've ruined my breasts.I wouldn't say they are ruined,they can be fixed.I just didn't think I'd have to re-op.I really trusted my doctor.This time it will be in writing as to what is being implanted in me.

sarahdawn31,your mod profiles project out more than mine.Its amazing how implants look different on each woman even if we are the same height and band size.It's a bit of a gamble when we go in even with perfect planning you can never be exactly sure of the outcome.

it really is a gamble it is so different from person to person...
this is just my opinion but I do think that going up in cc's and to high profile should give you want you want.
I think though its really important to have a clear idea of the look you want from all angles, then find pictures that show that and hopefully you can let your ps help guide you to what implant will give you that look.
Are you going with a new ps or the same?
I am quite happy with the profile of my boobs, and my ps did give me what I wanted but I do now want them bigger as being so tall and broad my boobs dont look big on me, I also feel more confident and womanly with big boobs having my body.

I totally have the same problem sweetheart! I got moderate plus overs and I love the way the look in bra, bathing suit, but in clothes they disappear and from the side are barely noticeable, so if you go with a higher cc but in high profile you will get the look you want. I can't afford to redo them but that's what I want to do when I do!

I can't afford a re-do either.The surgeon fee and operating room will be free.I'd have to pay for implants and GA.I think I should pay zero since these weren't the implants we picked prior to surgery.I'm going to talk to them one more time this week and see if I can bargain with them some more.It bites...I saved for years to get the BL/BA.If they won't budge then I'll just have to save up some how.

I'm surprised the mod-plus looks similiar to these in profile.Are you finding it hard to fit into bras as well?Mine are so wide and flat that its hard to get my boobs in a bra and make it look right.

Will your clinic give you a discount of any kind for an implant exchange?

Hi sarahdawn31,my surgeon was totally aware of what I wanted.I showed her my pictures from how I looked before breast feeding (my natural breast projected quite a lot) and pics of other woman.We had agreed on the higher profile and she said the lift would take little to nothing from my natural size (a few grams of skin) and that since I was a DDD/F cup it would be no issues about fitting in the implant.In all honesty I think she made a mistake in putting these in.I had 3 visits with her before I picked her for the surgery and stressed I didn't want to go conservative.I had 4 consultations all together but she seemed to listen to me the best out of all those surgeons I saw.I guess I was wrong.LOL!I have talked with her twice now about it.Maybe the third time will be the charm and I'll get the re-op for free?!Oh how I wish.....

I'll probably have to re-op with the original surgeon.After thinking about it,my lift is nice and I love the lipo she did.Plus the main factor would be funds.Even if I don't get the price lowered anymore,it will still be thousands cheaper than going elsewhere.
