Too Small :(
I'm a week post op and think I went too small. I basically listened to my dr and didnt do enough preparing. I am so regretting this right now!!! I was a (what I think) a small nice B and got 375cc. I probably wouldnt have gone over 400cc even if the dr had recommended it. So, will someone please tell me that 400cc would look the same as my 375cc and then I can rest better...
They are still swollen and funny looking. I'm weak in my arms still and very uncomfortable, still pretty numb in most places. Is this buyers remorse that I didnt go big enough or is this normal post op doubting? When I finally am healed up in a few months and I get a proper fitting will I have a decent bra that makes me look bigger and then I will love them more?
I cant go through this again, so I have to love what I have...its almost like a cruel joke because I should have just loved what I had before but now that I went through with it I'm not really happy?! Ugh!!! Stressed in Texas.

Re: Too Small :(
Hi Hun,
I'm so sorry your feeling down about your breast size. What profile is your implant and did you have over or unders? That will make a difference in what your final size/look will be once they drop and heal. The difference between the 2 implants you were choosing from is only 25cc's and that amounts to 5 teaspoons or less than an once in weight (.84 oz.).Your early on and they will look different as the weeks pass. What is your main complaint, are they wide and flat on your chest or is it the overall look is small to you?Try not to worry to much just yet.I know that's easier said than done....
Wishing you the best during your recovery!

Re: Too Small :(
I forgot to add that those darn sports bras do nothing for our figures and make you look smaller.I hate those thing! The numbness and achy feeling is normal but if it gets unmanageable you should call the doctor just to ease your mind.

Re: Too Small :(
I completely agree, those sports bras do nothing for our boobs!
Its very normal to have boob greed early in the recovery process... as your boobs heal the skin and muscle with stretch to accomodate the implant, when this happens the implant with fill out into the pocket and can even get bigger, mine did!
I know its hard, but try to be patient and hopefully in a few weeks once your new boobs have healed up a bit more and you can wear a normal bra you will be much happier with the size! x

Re: Too Small :(
Thanks for the responses. I know I have to keep telling myself it was only a 25cc difference, but it IS a difference which is frustrating He did partial 375cc I just cant imagine how them "Dropping" (which I apparently need to understand more about) will in any way make them appear larger. All my life I have wanted large breasts but I choked and when he said 375 I was already started on an IV so I simply agreed. I like the boob greed comment, I just wish I didnt have it! I'm glad its normal though...when is the best time to go for new implants based on size issues...years? is this something typically covered by the surgeon. I'm going to have to be patient and let this all sink in...

Re: Too Small :(
I think that they reccomend waiting 6 months before a re-op.
Trully though they will "fluff" the implant acutally moves out more filling out the area more in the early stages of recovery the implant is squished in there behind the muscle and skin, its forien to the body, as you heal the skin and muscle relax and breast becomes fuller and sometimes bigger. x

Re: Too Small :(
As a general rule it is 100cc per cup size, so although 25cc is a difference it is probably only a teaspoon or two or silicone difference.
As the girls have said sports bras do nothing for you and a pretty bra can make all the difference. Also dressing for your new figure also helps. It is a major opration you have just been through and it can be quite a shock to the system so it can result in a little post op depression also known as boobie blues, it usually affects most people while the GA is leaving their system. I bet you dont feel like yourself at the moment either. Give it a bit more time and drink plenty of water to help flush out the GA from your system. It can take a full year to see the final results of you BA and you have many internal changes to go through. Give it some more time.

Re: Too Small :(
misf1 is so right! That GA takes a toll on your body and you need to let it get out of your system. And a 375cc implant is a good size. The pictures you see online are of woman that have already recovered and are photographed months after surgery and after the implants have dropped and fluffed.
At your next doctors appointment you might want to mention your concerns to the surgeon and see what their policy is for re-ops to a bigger size just in case you do still feel you want them changed in a few months. And maybe talking with him/her will put your mind at ease in regards to how they will look as you heal.

Re: Too Small :(
mynewtatas,I'm not sure if you mean me.If so,I was a natural size 34DDD/F.So I had a lot of boob to start with.LOL! I had an anchor lift and implants put in in order to keep my natural size but make them perkier.I think it has a lot to do with your starting size and body type.I have also found that other ladies on here are my height and frame size yet had their augmentations turn out to be a different size than mine.
Also,my avatar picture was taken before my implants dropped so they look really high up in that picture.

Re: Too Small :(
Emme-Kate, thanks. that makes perfect sense :) I feel really bad for people who have to have re-ops because the healing time is so long. its one of the main reasons I wouldnt go back for another 25cc. 50cc might be worth a re-op? but again, I'd have to wait at least 6 mos to see what mine are going to really look like now. what do you think.

Re: Too Small :(
I got 400 cc Hun, and I should have gone 600 650 to get my desired look. I wish I had found this page before too! I wasn't clear when I said I want to be a dd I was think like band size 34 36 I think and I'm a 28 so huge difference in cup size. But I have found since they dropped they seem bigger or tiny bit more projection. I also think I should have went with HP to get my desired look because I like the front view but not side view I look same size as I was before practically. But I am starting to love them more everyday and get use to them, and now I know for Down the road maybe after I have kids I'll get them done again and I'll know all this stuff. Just remember 375 is alot and it probally is a great deal bigger then you were, try on one of your old bras or bathing suits that should make you feel good! if you wanna see my before and after you are more then welcome just pm me. Like all the other girls have mentions 25 cc is not that much and I don't think in my opnion it would have made a noticeable change, I wouldn't have a re op over 25 or 50 cc. If you think your too small now you'll probally need a different profile or a bigger implant like 100 cc ish. Do you have pictures hun, if you have a picture trail account or something you should maybe get the girls to look at them and give you an opinion. Congratulations on your new boobies! And you'll be amazed when you get sized what size you are.

Re: Too Small :(
Your so right CutieMcC! I wouldn't re-op for such a small amount of CC's either. And it may very well be your projection that's the issue for you.I'm sorry to ask again, but what profile implant do to you have in you?You can find it on your implant serial number card if your not sure.

@Cutie, yours look amazing. That is the size look I wanted. I'll have to load some pictures.
@Emme - mine are mentor - smooth round moderate plus profile gel 375cc partial. I was a small 36B cup pre-op.

Re: Too Small :(
please dont worry hun, 25cc is not going to make a cup size diffrence so if that helps put your mind at rest? i imagine you could end up a lovely d or maybe dd. give them time to drop and fluff, and you may be surprised! x

Re: Too Small :(
CutieMcC it was meant for newtatas but it seems several of us are very unhappy with the look of the mod and mod-plus profiles.I'm positive now that when I re-do it will be a 600HP or around that size. The other girls said if I up the CC's and get the HP I'll look like I did prior to surgery.I look matronly because of my mods when I'm clothed. These just weren't right for me.Maybe this is why newtatas is unhappy.I also knew right away that the surgeon messed up and mine dropped and came forward more but they will never have the look of a nicely projected HP.
I don't mean to worry you newtatas,I'm just saying wait a few months, talk with your surgeon and see how your implants settle on your body type.

Re: Too Small :(
hi hun i was a 32a and had 300cc unders high profile with dr chantarasak. i was the same as you, had boob greed straight away, mine took a long time to settle probably because i have twin girls who were only 17 months old and my lifestyle is hectic but im over the moon with them, everybody says they look amazing. my leftie is a bit of a pain but they look amazing and i would probably be scared now to go any bigger because they suit my frame perfectly although if i was to have a re-op i would go a bit bigger but dr c did an amazing job and i promise you, you will love them when they are settled. you had a really good size implant put in so give it time ..... i think everybody has boob greed!! xxxx
