fake tan after ba?
hi girls,
im 3 weeks post op and was wondering how long do u think i need to wait before i use fake tan? before my ba i used it every week, and i feel like im getting paler by the day! lol
i use fake bake which means i have to put it on the nite before, go to bed with it on and then rinse it off the next morning, im just worried about getting it near my insisions while they are still healing xx

Ive put st tropez on today but ive covered my scars with healing pads from boots or you could use some steri strips, just be carful not to get it near them.

Re: fake tan after ba?
I used fake tan only 4/5days after my op. My surgeon said it was fine because the dressings I had on were totaly secure & waterproof over the incisions & now my dressings are off I'm still using it but just covering the incisions with some sticky pad things first and then leaving these on overnight until I wash it off to make doubly sure non accidently gets on my insicions while I sleep :-) I think after 3 weeks you are definately fine :-)

Re: fake tan after ba?
You should be fine as long as you keep any lotions or oils away from the incisions. It can cause infection if some gets into the wound.
If you're worried then it can't to any damage to wait a week or so
xx
