red lines???
Hi girls
Im now 7 weeks post op and yesterday noticed quite a few tiny red lines down the outside (ie. near my armpit) of both my boobs, there are a bit sore and raised to the touch. Dont think theyre stretch marks as arent they white?
Bit scared as it seems a bit odd and is freakin me out!
Any advice would be fab
Thanks xxx

Re: red lines???
Stretch marks start red/pink then turn silvery/white hun so maybe its that but im not sure if they're sore usually, have you got any pics? It could be mondors cord if they're raised and sore x
Re: red lines???
Thanks chick, not heard of Mondors Cord!
They arent too raised but you can feel them above the skin. I'll look up mondors cord. Maybe i should get some bio oil or something? Have just been using baby lotion as thats what the nurse told me to do for the 1st 6 weeks xx

Re: red lines???
Think what Nads said is a possibility. Think it was mrsmartini ?posted this last week, quite a few ladies had it. Sounds bad but, apparently very common and goes on it's own or with massage.
Perhaps it would help to ring your surgeon/nurse to check. Hope you feel a bit better. Take care xx

Re: red lines???
Hey hun, I'm no expert but it does sound like the beginning of stretch marks to me... I have them on my thighs from getting a lot taller in a very short time when I was 13, and they started like that. My suggestion is to moisturise lie hell with a specific product like Bio Oil and they will hopefully go before they develop into proper stretch marks xxx

I used that Palmers Stretchmark lotion before my op and after, it has elastin and collagen in it, i would slap on loads of bio oil and lotions hun x
