What actually happens on BA day?
Do your loved ones jus leave u there and then come and collect you or do they stay there waiting???

My BF stayed in the hospital room while I was away getting my op (I was away one hour exactly) x

Mr parents were there in my room before and the nurse bought them in once they put me into my bed... So was never alone!

My sister dropped me off at the hospital but had to head home straoght away, bit people r usually allowed to wait in ur room x

I got dropped off but when I have had operations before my hubby was allowed to wait in the room for me. xx

My BA day today. Hubby came into room then left to let me get on with it. Others stayed and for some this was lovely. One girl had her parents with her and admitted to me that she wished they had left. Do what is right for you! Had such a lovely day - must write up my story...

Aw[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I had a friend and her 14 month old son in my room, they both stayed for most of the day and the hospital looked after us all.
It was such an nice relaxed atmosphere, this just helped me relax and enjoy the experience.

Ah that's Kool, my lil brother was taking me cos nobody can get time off work but his not good with hospitals and I said to him it's more a hotel than ur bog standard local hospital but he reminded me he'll probably faint and b sick lol

I went on my own and was in hospital for two nights. I was fine and really enjoyed my stay!! Don't worry if ur alone u get looked after well xx
