Skipping after BA - anyone?
Hey girls,
I used to do skipping to keep fit and outdoor running (not religiously though) and want to start skipping again. I will wait another few weeks for sure, but does anyone here do skipping and whats it like after a BA? I ran up the stairs a few days ago, even that felt so odd and not right. Will i cause boobies to sag if i take up skipping now?
thanks

Re: Skipping after BA - anyone?
I'm not too sure about skipping....but i'm a performing arts student and I need to full on dance when I go back to drama school, so had my BA done now so that I would recover in time for early sept. I told my ps all this and asked would I be settled enough to do strenuous dance routines (inc being picked up and stuff) and he said I would be fine and recovered well enough to do all of that by then. So that gives me 8 weeks recovery time....so you should be fine I guess if you give it another 3-4weeks? xxx

Re: Skipping after BA - anyone?
i was given the all clear to exercise at 5 weeks, but waited until 7 when it felt normal! So i would say wait until it feels ok, if it feels odd or strains, just give it a few more days or weeks. I do quite a lot of vigorous sports, so im sure you'll be fine with skipping. Make sure you have an excellent quality sports bra on, thats impact level 4 ( high impact sports) a good qual one is worth investing in. Like shock absorber. Try them on n jump around a bit. I also wear a sports vest with hidden support and my 34ff's go no wear!!!

At 6 weeks I was given the go ahead to treat my boobs as if they were the real thing, so I would think when you get told by your nurse or surgeon, you can do pretty much anything. Just listen to your body and do what you feel is comfortable.
