beginning to bottom out or just dropped? Empty beginning to bottom out or just dropped?

Post by tme503 12th July 2011, 3:17 pm

so i am 3 weeks post op today and over the past couple of days i have noticed my right boob is lower and more fuller than my left... i can feel the implant at the bottom of right boob but not in the left.. i may just be over analyzing it but could my right be bottoming out? or does it sound like it has just dropped? it still feels a little tight but not as tight as my left. both breasts feel the same softness wise.. which isnt very soft at all lol but softer than they were right after surgery. in my right my nipple is more centered when you look from the sides but i still have alot of upper pole fullness and my left is still looking at the floor but with the same amount of upper pole fullness as the right?

its all very confusing... im afraid that if my right drops anymore than my nipple will be too high and i will have lopsided boobs.

please someone give me relief i do not have money for a revision and i will have to live with lopsided ugly boobs for a year or two!!!!!

Hmm...good questions, tme, I'm interested to hear what the experienced have to say. My instinct would be to say that it's probably fine and to make sure to keep wearing your surgical/support bra 24/7...Not sure, though.

Also, did you have any asymmetry prior to your BA?

You can drop at any time hun, everyone is different, so some see changes straight away and others may take months. I'd give it a bit more time and see how they change.

According to that pic, my natural boobs have been bottomed out since I was 15...

I'm sure I heard somewhere that they can drop at different rates; I'm no expert but I think misf1 is right in saying to wait a while and see =] alternatively, speak to your PS and see what (s)he says? Or... ask James!

I think that you boob has just started to drop and settle giving it lower pole fullness, they can drop at anytime and also normal to drop at different times, consider each boob as its own surgury and recovery time. Its also normal to feel the implant at the bottom I can feel mine.

U sound just like me. My leftie was my good boob also lol. I definatly noticed the right one lower almost right away. But my left pec is larger due to my pole dancing..thatss my bracing hand that holds all my weight upside down. I think our left side just doesnt want to let the implant go just yet!
