how much is too much??
Im 4 days post-op, and Ive been taking it very easy, but how easy is too easy? I feel like a lazy bum. I walked for 6 minutes on the tread mill, but then I got worried I might be trying to do too much...

As long as you aren't jarring your girls around you're probably good.... In fact they tell you to walk every few hours for circulation and to keep from getting a blood clot etc... Good job! I'd keep it to just a few minutes so you don't do any damage inside

Just walk at a normal pace. No power walking. You should be fine. Even little walks outside in the fresh air will do you good.
Re: how much is too much??
well, i had two procedures done at once labiaplasty and BA, so it hurts to stand for long periods ): the pain meds made me so sick, so its tylenol from here on out...

MissPepperBennett - how did the labiaplasty go? What was the pain from that like?? It's just that I'm debating it some time in the future!
Re: how much is too much??
honestly, thats the worst right now. ): Its hard sitting comfortably, and the stitches are poking alot. It has improved daily, but be prepared to be super uncomfortable. If I could do it again, I would, but not the same time as my BA...

Re: how much is too much??
I would go for a short walks outside but the main thing is not to over do the upper body movements like reaching for things and stretching as its SO easy to pull the stiches nd increase your healing time like i did.
One simple movement, mine was lifting my baby out of her cot at 2 weeks post-op and the pain it unreal, then it takes another week to settle and feels like your back to square 1 again dont think walking slowly will hurt you much 4 days post-op as the G.A etc should be out of your system by then.

Re: how much is too much??
sitting actually hurrts worse than standing... good ole gravity sends all the blood down when I stand... then its quite bothersome..Im going to take your advice, Im headed outside for a short stroll.. (:
