Shock Absorber bras
Where is the best/cheapest place to buy them?
I am specifically looking for the "classic" which has one hook and eye opening bit, or the new style "max" which has 2 hook and eye openings bits.
I already have 2 for when I get my implants (as I didn't know I'd need a lift when I first bought them, and I bought them cos they had £5 off each!), but they are in a 38F.
James said to get one around the size I am now, relatively loose fitting to allow for swelling (so guessing maybe one back size and one cup size up from what I am now??!!), and obviously a slightly tighter one of the right size when the swelling goes down.
So if I'm a 38C now should I try and get a 40C as that is up one back size and technically up a cup size seeing as you go down a cup size of you go up a back size?!?!

I got mine in the John Lewis sale for £20 which is still pretty expensive in my eyes!

I have 2 level 4 shock absorbers, they were £28 on their own, though I came across the pack of 2, 1 black 1 white for £40. Debenhams, they're brilliant!
For my first week I wished I'd bought a size up in the band, though since swelling has gone down my usual band size is fine! Xx

Re: Shock Absorber bras
Hi Rach,
I love the Shock Absorber bras, but was advised that in the early days it''s best to get a support bra that fastens in the normal fashion, rather than one that goes over your head... cos they are much harder to move when you are all sore and stiff... Just a thought xxx

That's why I'm after the ones that do fasten like normal bras rather than the ones you pull on over your head!!! lol

Re: Shock Absorber bras
Lol no worries!!!
I'm after one like this, with the 2 bra fastenings at the back
or like this with one fastening at the back
Both of these are shock absorbers
