Going to go mad soon :(

I'm STILL waiting to hear back from my friend about the money (those of you who know the story will know what I mean, but for those who don't - I helped a friend out and he was so grateful that he said he's going to pay for my boobs)

I had a call from MyBreast last Thursday saying that they only had 2 spaces left on the day I want my surgery and 3 the day after. I have the deposit but need to wait for the ok from my friend to know he has the rest of the money.

Well he's trying to get a friend of his who he has done a lot of favours for to pay one of his invoices so that he can free up the money for my boobs. But my friend contacted this guy last Thursday and keeps chasing him but getting no reply!!!!

I'm going out of my mind that all the spaces will have been booked already for those 2 days cos this is taking so long.

I have been in floods of tears all morning since my friend said that he still hasn't heard anything, cos if I don't get them done 15th/16th August then I won't be able to use the full 2 weeks of Dave's holiday for him looking after the kids for me to recover, and as I have nobody to deal with the kids and school I can't do it during school time cos Dave will be taking me to the hospital so can't be here doing school runs at the same time!!! So if I can't do it 15th/16th August then I'm going to have to wait til at least next Easter holidays if not next summer

Aww Rach - your poor thing. Hope it works out soon as it must be really frustrating for you. Fingers crossed your friend can sort things out in time for you to get one of the spaces. Rach x

Oh no! How frustrating. I really hope your friend comes through and makes good of his offer very soon. Not knowing must be driving you up the wall! x

Thanks girls. Thing is it isn't his fault it's taking so long! It's his friend delaying getting back to him about this invoice!!! My friend even chased him first thing this morning and still nothing :(

Rach, can I be honest? I really hope things do work out for u, I really do. But, u kno if things don't work out, try and look at it as if u was getting it free anyway so if it happens it happens. And if it doesn't, at least u know u want it so bad that u will find the money one way or another.

Don't take this the wrong way please. I have followed Yr story, so I'm just saying don't let it get to ya. Just keep bugging Yr guy everyday, ring and tex him!

could you tell them to YES book you in on one of those days.. then.. if he still hasn't managed to get the money.. you could always re-book.. you will be using the same clinic.. so wouldn't actually lose the deposit.. just keep moving the date..

i really hope he comes through in time.. do you know any big burly hit-men.. lol

hey rach, anything new changed?? i spose its very frustrating sitting there andn waiting for a phone call/text to say he has the money, but hopefully this may help you relax.
Just think that everyuthing happens for a reason... if he doesnt get the money intime and you hav to post pone, there will be a reason for that, maybe you boobs will turn out better, or your recovery will be better...i dont know!
but if something doesnt happen, when you want it to, it eventually will when its suppose to. I have everything well and truly crossed for you babe xxxx

Hey girls. I have started another thread with an update cos my friend told me yesterday that it's all go so I phoned and booked!

He has my bank details so I'm now just waiting for the money to get to my account!! Yay!!

i truley understand how u feel! im having my BA on the 16th july but for a coupple of days i thought it wasnt going to happen! i had, had all my appoinments tred on implants, had my medical ect then the day i went to set up a payment plan my credit check got declined wich i later found out was because i had a case of fraud! my mum and ad couldnt help and the last person to try was my fiancee's dad (who disagrees with surgery!) first time i asked he said no then he phoned back the next day to say he could lend it me!! it was the worse few days of my life i had got my self so excited and couldnt belive it was going to be snached away from me! I truley hope you get your money!! god luck!! xx
