LOW NIPPLES after ba! :(
Hi girls,
as most of you know, I had my ba done about 10 weeks ago, and whilst i am mostly happy with them, im a little concerned that my nipples seem quite low, esp compared to all the other BA pics i have looked at.
Now i know that lots of nipple face downward, but my breast are relly soft and squidgy now, so surely my nipple still shouldnt be so low?
I would especially like your opinion cookie, if you could spare a few mins?
As most of u know, i was bordeline lift, but my surgeon felt i would easily get away with a straight forward ba. Now im wishing i had a doughnut lift or something.
If you would like to have a look at my pics, i would appreciate HONEST opinions, please dont sugar coat for me girls, i can take it! lol
Its the album marked, ''low nipples''
cheers...

I am pre-BA but could I have a look? Im also worried about this as my boobs are so saggy at the mo that my nipple is almost underneath (yuk) Mr Traynor said after the BA my nipples will still point in the same direction but I am thinking surely an implant is going to lift them?? x

Re: LOW NIPPLES after ba! :(
Honestly.... as I said in my PM sweeness, you would have benefitted from an uplift hun.
An uplift won't move the nipple up babes, it will only increase your breasts size hence the return of your nipple height post-op.
I'm so sorry lovely, I wish I had better news but yes, I think you're right xx

Re: LOW NIPPLES after ba! :(
I couldn't wait to see what Cookie had to say about this. I can't believe the surgeon didn't recommend an uplift if that's what Jen needed! We put all our trust in them.... as they are meant to know best!! xx

I thought I wrote on here and now it's gone...? I had just asked if I could take a look, but don't worry if you've already got the answers you need and don't want to send me the details.
I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed with your result, so upsetting after you paid all that money. Still I bet they are still fab :))

Re: LOW NIPPLES after ba! :(
I have this same problem too Jen, and i think our BAs were done nearly the same day.. I assumed my nips would be a little higher than they are now. I consulted 3 surgeons before hand.. all said the same - mild ptsosis (sp?) but not enough to warrant lift.
Although I've not posted much here, I have been reading these forums and your post's especially I've read with extra interest due to our coinciding BA dates and I can say I've shared all of your concerns including this one and the DB at the exact times you have!
I don't have as much fullness underneath as I'd like, even tho I stated at consultation that I wanted it improved. I think also that my boobs are (currently anyway) a bit flat underneath, so as to make a sort of triangle with horizontal bottom when viewed side on. Yet in a bra the shape is lovely and round and the nipples centred!
My surgeon seemed confussed when I asked about dropping and fluffing. He said the implants are not gonna budge from current position. Hm.
makes u feel like poo eh. Big hug x

Jen can I look? Mine told ne no need for a lift and then when I was on the table for surgery he said, "so you decided against a lift?" What?!?!? Now I'm nervous!

Re: LOW NIPPLES after ba! :(
Hey hun i just read this now - i posted a similar post huh. May i have a look at your pics pls? My nipples are also very low, especially my right one, and i was putting this down to the fact they need to drop. But im confused about what drop means now, as they are lower but not full. xx
