Re: How heavy can my new boobs be???
Hiya,
I have been told that cc's are equivalent to grams - so 500cc is half a kilo etc. The main reason you're weighing a bit more at the moment would be fluid retention - apparently our bodies store fluid after a trauma & I know that I was very bloated until about 7/8 days post op.
Hope that helps! X

Implants actually weigh very little at all.
This is how you determine your total implant weight -
So if you have 400cc implants, they weigh less than a pound each!

This is how you determine your total implant weight -
Use the following formula if silicone was used. Multiply the number of
cubic centimeters by two, then multiply that number by .0375 (which is
the weight in ounces of each cc of silicone).
So, if you have 400ccs of silicone per breast there are 800 ccs total.
800 ccs multiplied by .0375 equals 30.
30 divided by 16 (ounces) is 1.875.
This means your total breast implant weight is 1.875 pounds.
So if you have 400cc implants, they weigh less than a pound each!

Re: How heavy can my new boobs be???
My implants weigh just over 1kg total. I weighed myself yesterday and have gained 7lbs since before surgery. I put it down to swelling, boobs, and possibly the fact that I don't go to the toilet as often due to the GA! Xxx
