iv been told im not allowed to wear underwire bras for 6 months after my op, pretty disappointing as there is not a great selection of pretty or sexxy non wired bras around! some nicish ones in debenhams but nothing great....wee gap in the market i think lol....

ladies ive got my pre op tomorrow what should i expect?? im really excited :) 24 days and counting haha x

Hi lucy jane, i think every1s pre op's are differnt. I had mine on wednesday and they took photos, done swabs to make sure i dont have the MRSA bug and took blood. The blood was a disaster because i was dehydrated (too much wine the nyt before) so drink plenty of water...if you get blood taken that is because some people i think havent had blood done.. Whats your stats and where are you having surgery?? x

i hope they dont take blood ive just had it done by the doctors too ill have non left at this rate lol x

at first i wanted overs but my surgeon recommended overs! said i had enough tissue even though in a 32aa at minute! i think its faster recovery time with overs as well as they are not cutting into your muscle! ur op is 4 days before mine! hoping these weeks fly by. x

my surgeon has told me to research both options and make up my own mind if i still cant on the day she will do what she thinks is best but she wont tell me what that is because she doesnt want to influence me and then me regret it. im still not 100% sure to be honest. ill see what she says tomorrow at my pre op x

Hi I'm having my op in cyprus and over here they don't do pre ops I know they take bloods from me on the day and the surgeon took measurements and pics at my consultation is there anything else that happens at a pre op I'm missing out on?

im really new to all this and have never been in hospital nor had a GA...iv been reading some BA stories and ladies saying they came out with sore throats etc, is it true they put a tube down your throat?? that is worrying me alot! im sure its procedure bla bla but doesnt sound good! any info ladies???

to be honest i'm one of these... put me to sleep and do anything to me! aslong as i dont wake up lol, and maybe not anything, i mean plastic surgery wise, not perverted wise. i do make them give me gas before my butterfly in my hand because i hate needles. the sore throat just feels like it does when you have a dry cough, its nothing to worry about. the only thing i hated about my ba was when i came round i was fine and really perky, it was when i tried to get out of my bed, i was stuck to the pillow and couldnt get up, so the nurse wedged her hand under me and pushed and that made me feel like cr** from then on! i was in a state but i was only 17 when i had it done and a right wimp. just make sure if you feel pain you ask for more drugs because i never did and i think thats why i was so bad. its more exciting than scary x

its the silly little things thats scares me, butterfly in hand etc! i hope i get the option for gas first because im the same with needles! not scared about getting cut open etc lol The thing im struggling with most is trying to get a visual of what its going to look like? anyone else feel the same??x

Am sooooooo excited; have just booked my BA for 3rd August at Holly House, Essex. I'm already counting down "how many more sleeps?" haha.

Hey nicki! Congrats on booking your op :-) where abouts in Essex is holly house? I'm having my BA in Brentwood, never heard of holly house though! Xxx

Hi Stokesy88!,
Holly House is in Buckhurst Hill, so not that far from Brentwood. Only just had consultation last Thursday and booked on the Friday!. The surgeon that i'm going with has been reccomended to me a few times and when i met him on Thursday i knew that i wanted him to do my op! (his name is Nigel Carver).
I really can't believe that it's in less than a month, i'm sooooo excited. He advised 415cc or 425cc teardrop partials. This will take me to a full D or hopefully DD! (i'm currently a small 34b although Mr Carver measured me and said that i was a 32....).
How about you?, where are you having yours and what are you having??. It's so exciting hey?.

Ohh yeah i know where Buckhurst Hill is! I've heard of your surgeon too for some reason, maybe it was during all my research!! Im having round 340cc overs. I wanted a little bit bigger but i think they will look less natural as i dont have much tissue at the moment! Im having mine at the nuffield in brentwood. am so excited! It seems so long away still though! Especially as i booked my op in May! xx

Apparently he is quite well known as the "booby man" of Essex! haha. Your BA day will come around really quickly i'm sure. Have you been advised by your surgeon what size sports bras to take to the hospital with you?.
I'm still waiting for my confirmation letter as i only booked it on Friday. Was wondering if this letter will tell me this???

I haven't got a confirmation letter or anything yet! When I booked it I was so far in advance they said it would be a while before I get anything from them. Im seeing my surgeon once more on weds for a final consultation, might try and persuade him for a tiny bit bigger implant, like 380cc instead. He didn't seem too happy stretching to 340 last time though! Err I don't think I have to take a sports bra, he said they put me in one in theatre and give me a second to take home to alternate between. Xx

stokesy88 im reading your posts thinking i should be going bigger! lol im having 300ccs which seem like nothing compared to most on this site! im having overs like yourself but scared that they will look very stretched if im trying to squeeze any bigger in there! what did your surgeon think? i want them looking natural as possible! plus my mum goes to every consulatation with me and wont let me go crazy, am i possibly havin a little boobie greed with all these forums?
August cant come quick enough !!! xx

Good morning girls:)im reading your posts and thinking of going smaller!!:)well,low profile 440 overs are big DD cup and that's what I was adviced to have by my surgeon..but there is one more opinion made by another surgeon that I should go with moderate profile 375 max under!!..confused!:)..I booked one more appointment with my surgeon to discuss different posibility and I'm taking a few pictures with me ,let's see what we achieve...

hey ladies i had my pre op on sat the nurse asked if i had any questions i told her no all my questions have been answerd on here haha!! so now its officially 21 days till boobiesss woooo :), lauraswts i feel the same im only having 300cc aswell and i feel like they wont be big enough but lets face it they will be bigger than i have now!!! x
