They are sore sad smile

For the fest week or so i lost all feeling/colour in my nipples and now they are really pink and look very sore! And they hurt but i still have no feeling in them if that makes sense lol!?

Is there anything i can do to make them look better lol?! they make me cringe when i see them cause they just look painful...

Ouch! Sounds sore Hun, but also all sounds good, as the new pain, discomfort and color are signs your nipples are healing up as all the nerves repair they become hypersensitive. I used to wear a plain cotton singlet (vest) under my bra to protect my nipples and sensitive skin. Hopefully it won't be too long until they feel normal again... I think mine were only hypersensitive for a few days. X

Mine were so sore too post op and they seemed to have a total mind of their own and would go erect if someone so much as walked past me...or if a dog barked....or if the wind blew to the east, west, south or north!!!! They settle down hun and it's very very rare to lose complete feeling so let time takes it's course and all will be fine My Poor Nips 571992

My nipples hurt like mad, it reminds me when i was breast feeding the boys, and they sucked the life out of them!!
the tiniest little touch makes me say ouch... as soon as the bra comes off, they have a mind of there own, and really hurt!!

Hope it settles down soon, also today ive had really sharp pains in my left boob, like right beind the nipple!! hope this means there healing

Now, your going to laugh at this and even turn your nose up. But then i was breast feeding the midwife told me to put a cabbage in the fridge and then put the leaves in my bra to cool my nipples down and stop the soreness. It works but am not sure if it will do the same job for a boob op. Also they will have to be clean.

Just a thought x

Oh Chicksville this brings back a funny memory..I heard this too when I was breast feeding my daughter, however I got mixed up and put lettuce in instead!!! Hence to say it didn't make any difference My Poor Nips 557141

For those of you who can't lay your hands on some chilled cabbage (can't believe I am typing this!), I found that Avent Nipple Moisturising cream calmed them right down within 24 hours....admittedly not as entertaining as cabbage but perhaps a little more practical when at work!

Hey flossy, I'm getting exactly the same thing at the moment, everything I do is setting them off! I put cotton wool pads in my bra and it does help a bit. Like the girlies said tho, its probably a good sign everything is knitting together.

Weird tho isnt it, completely numb but painful!!!! My Poor Nips 751387

Well my surgeon said "go get drunk as soon as possible my lovely"....or at least that's what I think he said My Poor Nips 557141 . I had a ickle drink about 3 days after the op but to be honest I wouldn't advise it...Hic!!!! If you got drunk you might knock your boobs etc and not realise you've hurt them! I'd say 5 days post op would be ok to have a glass of wine but I'd stop after the third bottle!!! My Poor Nips 184153
