boobs mishaping by the day

Hi girls,

I had my op on tuesday and I was pretty happy with shape immediately, then on the day they started swelling which was expected. But as days are going on they seem to be getting more out of shape, like higher up. Anyone experienced this? I'm feeling upset about the whole thing for some reason. It will be ok right? My sports bra doesn't fit properly, lose from bottom and they popping out very high on top.

Any advise appreciated.

hiya,
your boobs are gonna change a huge amount over the next 6 weeks so nothing to worry about!! mine are still really high and really firm and very uncomfortable but they will settle into place and become softer! x

Shes right, honestly please dont worry as it will take some time for them to settle, you are very early post op, so they have lots of changes to go through.
You will love them soon xx

I know exactly what is wrong, you have the boobie blues, it's a kind of post operative depression which can make you feel really down and upset while the GA is leaving your system. Plus it really is normal for your boobs to be under your chin practically, they can also drop down one at a time resulting in a look of one looking bigger than the other until the one that hasn't dropped catches up.

Thanks girls, its harder being paitient than I thought really. I'm feeling better today and just ignoring them. Its just I see everyones avatar pic with sports bra and they fit fine, mine is so so odd! Ignoring them now.

Misf - u are right, it must be ga effects, I do start to cry and feel sorry for myself quite a lot! Its a very emotional journey this is, esp if u let little things affect u mentally. Like all I'm seeing on tv today is flat chested beautiful women! Then I started thinking why didn't I accept myself the way I was! I never would have and its silly I'm thinking it. Can't wait to come out on the better end of this :)

In a few days hun, you'll start to feel more yourself. As for your boobs, well they'll do their own thing for a bit, but eventually they start to behave boobs mishaping by the day 907337

The Boobie blues can really be awful!!! I had it bad and it seemed to last a while. No regrets now. Enjoying the new look. You will feel better soon. Gets lots of rest and heal.
