Had my op on 3rd (last Fri) and I have to admit it all hasnt been as bad as I thought it would be. Yes Ive been in a bit pain, but nothing unbareable. Im find the worst thing is the sleeping upright - how long am I supposed to do this for? As i feel I could probs sleep on my side now. They are just feeling tight and quite numb now and just looking forward to gettin the bandages off - do they normally do this at the week check up?

I thought I had made my mind up with 410's but when I arrived my PS suggested I go no bigger than 380's I took his advice and am happy with the results so far - was a 34b - in 34dd at the min All done - very bored, but very happy 899188 .

Took a week off work, my OH took a few days but now that hes went back im really bored, theres only so much daytime TV you can watch (then again ill be wishing was sitting here on my setee when Im back at work next week)

hi hun! im 7 days post op and just had the bandages off today and they look a lot bigger than when they were in the bandages!
i hate sleeping upright too but physically cannot lie on my back yet cause it hurst too much! the nurse told me DO NOT sleep on your side cause this can cause the implant to move sidewards and shes seen patients that need implant repositioning cause of it!! i was told to sleep upright for a week and i think ill still sleep propped up until im comfortable on my back. not sure how long till you can sleep on your side though! dont do anything to strain yourself either, i lifted the kettle yesterday and was in agony for hours! xx

Congratulations on your new additions-it sounds like you're doing really well. I was told i had to sleep at a slant for 2weeks (definately the worst thing!) but different companies/surgeon want you to follow out their own post-op instructions so its best to check on what is best for you hun.
Happy healing! 8-)

ring up ur clinic and see what they want u to do. Its different everywhere. I had to sleep elevated for two weeks. It was sooooo nice when i was allowed to sleep flat, it just hurt a bit on my ribs when i tried to sit up, so dont be in too much of a hurry to lie flat! lol xx
