what is this dent?
Hi girls, i seem to have an longish dent on each boob, just above where the scar is and running up about 1.5 inches to the inside of my boob and when i stand with no bra on, i feel its quite obvious. Now i know im only 6 weeks post, and the dents have been there since day 1,i just thought they may have gone by now! Did anyone else experience dents? and is it normal??
help appreciated!! starting to worry now!!

Re: what is this dent?
You're a month PO so a re-op wouldn't be considered until you're 3-4 months PO to allow them to settle. It could be that they're sitting funny, causing a crease that won't be there as they soften.
But tell your surgeon when you see him and ensure they make a note in your notes about it. Literally, watch them write it down, and in the event of a re-op you'll be able to say you brought it to their attention in good time.

Re: what is this dent?
hiya, i know nothing about double bubble, but from your description sounds like the 'forces' aren't right and the implants not in the perfect place in relation to the scar/pocket... either way it's your surgeons fault and im glad to read youve got an appointment to have it checked! good luck

Re: what is this dent?
Whoah just slow down. You know this Jen to not panic. Ive seen the advice youu have given other ladies. So you know ur boobie stuff. I had a reop after 2 weeks with transform. Could have had a drain but my doc wanted to change my implant and have a look around. Glad he did and yes it was free. I had a dent in my boob for ages after the op and it looked square at the bottom. Its evened out now and as my boobs have dropped its kinda gone but because im so critical i still notice it. Its easy for me to say but dont worry. Nobody acheived anything by worrying. See your surgeon when you can if you think you still have a problem but i seriously think your boobs need to settle and im sure they will be dent free and lovely. Chin up and chest out! X

Re: what is this dent?
Hi I still had your pw and just had a look, sorry it does look like double bubble to me, altho obviously I'm not an expert. This can occur when you have quite a bit of breast tissue yourself and then have unders, so could be the case for you.
However on the flipside it could be just something that could settle over time, as I know of girls who had thier creases lowered and it took a few months for the original crease to flatten out.
Double bubble should be covered in your aftercare, so as has already been said, make sure they note down your concerns tomorrow.
Good luck. x
