Bleugh! It's day 2 and I feel real real sick sick My stomach is churning but I cannot face any food at all. Also can't go To the loo which is making me all bloated and swollen. I'm
Gonna have to get some laxatives I think.

Boobs are ok, sore when I move around but no pain as such. It's just this sick feeling, it's awful hissy I dont know if it's all the drugs they have given me as I'm on pain killers, anti inflammatorys and antibiotics??? But whatever it is its Making my stomach turn

Anybody else feel fragile after their op??? X x

Hi Gemski

I'm three days post op and the GA totally floored me. I was kept in overnight and could hardly walk the following morning I was so spaced out. I am constantly sleeping, have no appetite and a stomach that wouldn't look out of place in a maternity dress!!

I am only on paracetamol and ibroprufen as the nurses suggested I try and manage on that as the side effects of the stronger pain killers are tough. I had three doses of antibiotic through a canular in the 24 hours after the op and nothing to bring home.

I have HUGE pain in my left breast this morning but otherwise I have been okay.

I think feeling crappy is part of the deal.....I was surprised by how bad i felt post-op but put it down to being under GA for four hours rather than the two I was expecting!

Stick with it (like we have any other choice!) as I am sure it will be worth it when we are getting measured later in the summer with big smiles on our faces!

Hi Hun, yes it's normal! Swap the painkillers for normal paracetamol and you'll feel better! It was the painkillers that were making me ill! I had to take laxatives too for my huge belly and they helped loads! Get lots of sleep and rest, I know it's boring but you need it to heal! Xx

Yes Gemski it's all normal hun. I felt so grotty from the constipation :-( It's all the drugs. Try to eat little and often and drink lots of fluids to flush out your GA. xxxxx
