So down, help!
Sorry for being suh a drama queen but had a really **naughty word** night.
Took my strap off for a few mintues yesterday and thought I'd get some pics. I so wish I hadnt, apart from that theyre so small and odd, my spines completely buggered! My stomachs gone up like a balloon, feel like I've made such a bad move.
Added to how uncomfortable I am, and I cant sleep propped up on my back, I'm feeling so down, and just wanna cry
Anyone else going thru this coz I'm starting to really regret doing all this.

Re: So down, help!
Sounds like the post op blues hun... you are not alone... MANY go through this after their BA.
Remember you are very early in your recovery and what you see now is not what you will end up with. You have just had a big surgury and your body needs time to heal and those boobs of yours will change a lot and most girls, myself included feel they look bigger once they settle and fluff.
Drink lots of water to help flush the GA out of your system also gentle walking will help that too. Lots of fibre to keep the bowels moving (I myself ate prunes) I recently found these peppermint tablets that help with bloating.
The GA is hard on us and takes time to get out of the system it is part of the reason you are feeling down and a big part of the reason for the bloated tummy... I remember in my early recovery days complaining that my tummy felt worse than my boobs!
You will feel better soon, I promise! xx

Re: So down, help!
its perfectly normal sweetie, booby blues affects most of us but it does pass. i was exactly the same after my op, i felt so stupid for spending so much money and i was so unhappy as they seemed so small and i couldnt help but regret it completely. but with time it does pass, i dont personally know what causes it although i think the GA probably has something to do with it, plus our boobs dont look like we expect them to immediately after the op. once the swelling goes down and the implants settle your new additions will take on a much more natural appearance so dont worry too much about how they look now, they wont stay like this. you will be bloated from the GA so give it a few days and this will also go down.
we've all been in your position so we are all here for you

Re: So down, help!
Definately post-op blues babe
Don't jusdge your new breasts this early post-op sweetness, they're going to look very odd right now hunni and NOTHING like you will result with, they really do need some time.
Get yourself up and moving about, this is the best thing you can do for yourself hunni to help that posture pain and shift that GA from your system.
When you say you're sleeping 'propped up' is this a sitting position? if it is darlin' it's not necessary at all. just be sure your head and shoulders are raised and you'll be fine, you can also try using a hot water bottle on the small of your back hun and add a pillow under your knees to help relieve the pressure. If you're breasts are causing a lot of discomfort, if you're not already, try some icepacks placed over the tops of your breasts, bags of frozen peas/rice or anything will do! it really is such a relief to have the cold on them!
Bare in mind that the first week is always the worst hun and you're half way there now!... we're here for you kezza should you need us babe, yes, we've all been in your shoes babe and it's not nice at all but it DOES get better sweetie I promise. xx

Re: So down, help!
Kezmac I'm going to pm you my pic details hun. Mainly because at the start of my pics there is a pic of me with my boobs looking lovely. At this time I had 230cc's and also capsular contracture lol!!!! But it will give you an idea of the size and shape I got from 230cc's.
You have the blues sweetie and we all get them. Like the ladies say drink lots of water it flushes out the GA quicker. Also rest rest rest your body needs it. Eat well and please don't judge your boobs. My last lot of pics I took last week I was really unhappy :-( Didn't like them much, thought they were too small and one was bigger than the other. this week I love them!!!! It changes weekly until they settle completely. xxxx
