saw my PS today and got clarification in regards to the warranty offered by HMG and it is FULL costs covered by them in case of ANY problems confirmed by PS (inc CC) for the 6 years as stated xx

yes i have, i had it in writing anyway but when i asked for it clarifying i also asked for it to be put into writing word for word that all costs are covered. something i never would have thought of had i not found this site xx

Hey guys,
I'm worried about this as I'm a little concerned/paranoid that I might have cc in my left boob. I can't find my paperwork as I'm trying to see if and for how much I would be covered for in my 'lifetime aftercare' with THG if I needed a re op (worst case scenario). Does anyone know about THG smallprint?!!
Something going wrong was the last thing I thought of while I was in the clinic pre op - how vulnerable (or in my case naive) we are really in the sales room. I wish I'd known to ask more questions!

THG use both CUIs and Naturelle implants. Both of these implants are covered for CC for 3 years only even though it states you have lifetime cover sweetie. xx

Surgery costs as well for 3 years but only if you have a high grade CC ie baker grade 4 or 5. Although dont be afraid to confirm it with your clinic.

If you have CUIs, Pussycat and have CC within their 10 year warantee, the implants only will be replaced . If you have Naturelles the implant only will be replaced free for the life of the implant.

If you develop CC (grade 4 or 5 like misf1 said) within the 3 year after care provided, everything will be payed for Pussycat. But if you were to develop CC outside of those 3 years, all surgery, surgeon, medicine, hospital fees will all be down to you sweetie. xx.

However... That's quite daunting having the possibility of having to shell out all over again. I wish there was some sort of boob insurance!!

That's a good idea, you never really know how soon you'll need it! Is there anyway of being able to tell if you have cc or rupture without a scan? Im seeing my ps on saturday about a pain/ache ibe had for a few weeks and I'm just wondering if a diagnosis or whatever is gonna be a long drawn out process. Sorry for all the questions!! I don't know what I would do without this you girls and this place xxxx

With capsular Contracture the capsule around the implant hardens and pushes the implant upwards on your chest, so you may notice your breast sat high up on the chest and sometimes mis-shapen as well as pain. Your surgeon would be able to diagnose this with a physical examination.

A rupture would only be able to be diagnosed with a scan, no physical examination would help diagnose this, unless they had Xray eyes lol. Sometime a Rupture does present symptoms such as raised lymph nodes, breast distortion or pain and sometimes you'd have no clue at all untill the implant was removed or it was maybe detected through a routine scan, this type of rupture is called a 'silent rupture' xx

Wow. I guess you never really think it'll happen to you but there you go. I don't know what else it could be, I'm just admitting to myself that it's probably gonna be cc.
