Morning everyone!
A friend has just made me aware of a BA offer for £1,995 from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] under the 'Liverpool' city. It's at the Birkdale Clinic- has anyone had their BA here? Or does anyone have any experience with this clinic??
Would LOVE your thoughts please xxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: BA for £1,995!!!
I think annefinackapan used the Birkdale and is very pleased with her results, not sure which surgeon she used though, she does pop in here often so maybe you could PM her asking her what her thoughts are on the cinic babe?
As well as that Research! Research! Research! and be sure they include aftercare in the price as it doesn't go into detail on Groupon so check that out as you don't want to find yourself having to possibly pay more later hun.
Sounds like a great deal though if everything checks out! xx

Re: BA for £1,995!!!
It states Dr Adeogba on the offer. Will call them today.
I am supposed to be seeing Simon Withey at Mybreast today but they left me a msg last night on home phone (only received this morning) to say due to other commitments he cannot make 12:15pm today!!! Gggrrrr and I had sorted childcare. They also had the cheek to say in the msg that they had moved me to 9:15am this morning, but i'm 2hrs from London!! Not a good first impression, especially for a consult which cost me £25.00 xx

Yeah the thing is with Groupon they ARE really good genuine offers although if youve not had a consultation there OR seen the surgeon whats the chances of getting all that done in 15 hours before the offer runs out? but saying that he should be expecting to have to see lots of girls today all at short notice

Seems good, and they have a 5 day opt out in case you change your mind. Haven't heard much about the surgeon though...

Hun you only have to PAY for it within the alloted time period.
You can then have consultations etc and surgery at any time between now and Nov. xx
I bought a pedicure thing a couple of months back which was valid til May.

Just googled and found this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Re: BA for £1,995!!!
They're not PIPs, but they are the same standard of implant.
Just be careful with this offer. On the surface it looks good, but I haven't heard much about the surgeon and you don't want to be pressured into this type of thing. It may seem like saving money but this isn't a decision to be rushed in any way. There's no mention of aftercare or whether you'd have to pay extra for follow up appointments. They're already using fairly cheap implants, so makes you wonder what else they'll be cutting corners on.
You have to question why they are doing this. More than likely some kind of PR stunt for the clinic involved as it's bound to hit the headlines. I've received a few press releases about it already and the general opinion among surgeons is not good.

Re: BA for £1,995!!!
Thanks Roxychick,
I have spoken with them and they say the lifetime aftercare is the same -as if I were to pay the £5,000 ( I would be getting a £5k voucher).
It's such a hard decision to make. I have been trawling the internet and found good and bad things about them.
Hmmmm. To take the risk or not??

Have also just been informed that this offer is not exclusive to one surgeon, but also the others, including Helena Antoniadou- who I have heard is brilliant :)

Re: BA for £1,995!!!
I see! Well, as long as you don't feel pressured in any way. It's a great deal, but not a decision to be taken lightly.
Is there any way you can get a copy of aftercare before you buy, if you decide to?

Re: BA for £1,995!!!
One other point is groupon were on watchdog the other week as 100's sometimes 1000's of people were buying particular vouchers only to find they had to wait sometimes years to redeem them as the company couldn't cope with the demand groupon created xx

Re: BA for £1,995!!!
BAAPS have issued a press release: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Re: BA for £1,995!!!
I can't say the BAAPs press release would bother me as you've been here a while and have been researching lots so you know yourself the 'evils' of this 'business' I do agree with what they're saying though about just any naive woman just jumping in with no thought to the consequences... but then, this kind of thing is happening anyway as we see here....
You've checked out the aftercare and that all sounds good, I would do as Roxy suggested though and request they send you the terms and conditions 'of this particular offer' not the general one they use, inclusive of the right to choose your own surgeon and listing the after-care also.
I'd also be cheeky and ask if you could possibly change the choice of mplant, if that's agreed GET IT IN WRITING!
The one thing putting me off her is that implant... I recall a discussion a while ago now but I can't for the life of me find the thread, but James McDiarmid had said that he wouldn't use these implants and suggested if possible to choose differently.
So although it seems glossy, there's always a catch and for me reading it if you get everything else in Email, that's it for me, I would not have that implant. xx

Re: BA for £1,995!!!
That's the thing Cooks, can you imagine the number of women not on this site who'll see a BA for cheaper than abroad and just book it, not knowing anything about the clinic, surgeon or aftercare?
The great thing is Jane, you've totally done it the right way. You called up and found out details of the offer, aftercare etc. I think you're one of the sensible ones and your post clearly shows you're not one to rush into anything without knowing the full details.
Did you end up booking in the end?
