Is it normal to still be uncomfortable 16 days post op. I still find it hard to sleep as I get pain in what feels like my ribs and back. They still hurt when I wake up in the morning. Can it take a while to go? I know they can be sensitive for a while, which they are (like sunburn). Sick of sleeping in the same position, but cant sleep any other way at the moment...

Dont worry hun it will get better soon, some of us take longer to recover. Are you walking around regularly, that might help speed it up. I started turning on my side a bit after 2 weeks, maybe try that xxx

I will try but it hurts to lie on my side. I am up and about as normal. Housework, kids and work etc. The day is not so bad its the night when I lie down. I am sure it will be ok.

I would still rather sleep standing up than go back to having no boobs!

Hysterical

Yeh they do ache when you lie down at night, and the morning boob is horrid but it will soon pass, do you sleep propped up or flat on your back? x

It is normal ellijo!!! they do say six weeks till completly back to normal .. still worth it though!! It is the muscles that are adjusting to the new implant that causes the aches. Unders take longer to find their resting place, just listen to your body.. you waited long enough for them so give them the time they deserve to settle in. You will feel more at one with them soon. Take it easy. :hugme:I slept propped up for 3-4 weeks. xx

I remember having bad rib pain too... not nice, but it had all eased by 6 weeks.
