Had to cancel my BA..
Havent been on this for a while..didnt wanna just annoy myself n be full of regrets lol
I was meant to be getting my BA in April but cancelled due to a few things...i was going to have to get into debt to pay for it for a start n coz i have my little boy the guilt was too much so decided to cancel n just save up for it..im just hoping it wont take too long!!
Plus on the positive side i think i rushed into it n booked with the 1st company/surgeon i seen so when i go to book it again n i can take more time deciding who to go with.
Hope all you girls that have had their BA are recovering well n enjoying your new boobies i cant wait till i can enjoy mine lol xx

I agree with Kay babe, you've done the really sensible thing and in allowing yourself more time to research, you'll have the better boobs for the wait xx

Aww huni
Agree with all the other girls that you have done something very sensible. Although I know you will be disappointed.
I have a daughter and really want my BA right this second but couldn't afford to take out a loan so I am also doing it the old fashioned way and saving up.
I couldn't have something that was just for me making life financially harder for our little family for years after.
So I now have my wee ticker at the bottom of the screen and the lovey girls on here to spur me on with my saving :flowers:

Re: Had to cancel my BA..
Hi I did something a bit similar, initially I booked with the first surgeon I went to, just because he was local, I was rushing it and at that time I knew NOTHING, I had done virtually 30 mins of research. I had to cancel eventually due to a bad feeling about it. I re-booked for May with a totally different company and I'm so glad I did it because I went into it so much better informed, with the knowledge of the surgeon and having seen some of his results, and after comparing different companies and last but not least, spending £500 less!
So, it may actually be a blessing in disguise!
You get there when you get there, and they you'll still have the rest of your life to enjoy your new looks! x

I initially went for a consultation with nuffield because they were 2 miles from my house. But i felt rushed through the consultation, they didnt explain anything aboyut sizes shapes etc, it was very matter of fact. But i reserved a date anyway for like 2 weeks later, and then had a consultation with transform and changed my mind imeadiatly!! they were so reasuring. I ended up getting a loan out to pay for mine, so im sooo poor now!! and im sure some months i will really struggle.

Re: Had to cancel my BA..
jen,
it's so similar - my 1st consultation was with a Nuffield hospital too!
I don't regret at all going with THG instead of the first surgeon. They used a very unpleasant bait and switch sales technique and his staff felt patronising to me.
Thankfully I have managed to pay the whole amount in cash. Me and my brother had a joint savings account we had almost forgotten about, he recently decided to take his part to help buy a new car, so he told me, that's it, the rest is yours, so I used it to pay for about 3/4 of the cost of BA, the other 1/4 came from my own savings. But even if I had to put most of it on a credit card, I'd still have done it - I'm starting to realise life's too short.
