Incisions/scars
Hello.I had my stitches out today, and the nurse says I'm healing well, yay! She told me I can start moisturising my boobs now ( not the incisions),but she didn't mention if I need to / can do anything with the incision sites,eg I've seen girls on here talk about silicone sheets? I'll give them a ring, but just wondered what you girls did with yours?mine look very tidy, but feel lumpy.is this normal and will it go?so many questions sorry! X x

Re: Incisions/scars
If she hasn't said you can put anything on them yet I wouldn't until you see the nurse again at 6 weeks post op. I didn't put anything on my scars until 6 weeks and then I just used bio oil. They now look fab. Lumpy/scabby scars is normal at this stage and your surgeon is very well known for small neat scars so yes they should flatten out.

Thanks misf1.I was hoping you'd reply,as I knew you had the same surgeon.i'm glad that's normal.I'm impressed wih how tiny the scars are,it's amazing they can stuff an implant through them, and still be so tidy!

Re: Incisions/scars
lol it's ok. I know when I first seen my scars at 14 days post op, I could not believe they fitted an implant in there, it looked impossible.
Re: Incisions/scars
Like misf1, I was also told nothing at all near the scar till 6 weeks post-op, only then was I allowed AFTER having the scars checked to use oils, creams or lotions. I was advised to use Bio-oil, then at 12 weeks post-op I was then advised to use the silicone sheets.
You're still very much open to infection lovely so best keep everything away from those wounds. xx
