Before BA
Sorry for another post, questions keep coming to me today lol.
I wear triple gel bras at the moment and was wondering if it is worth wearing a normal bra as much as possible before my BA to maybe help with how my boobs will feel after, especially to try and stop the feeling that they are not big enough etc as at the moment I am so used to wearing these bra's that I am worried I will end up thinking they are not big enough etc as in my clothes no one can actually tell how small they are.
What did you all do or do if you are pre BA? xx

Re: Before BA
gosh, i cant really help u here, cos i had padded bras pre ba, but not gel....im sure u will notice the diffrence aftr tho, cos u wont have th uncomfortable sticky gel wings and when u get changed, u will see ur gorgeous new boobies!! and remeber what ur old ones looked like. thats what happened to me. I notice th most when im getting changed. Also, my boob rubs the side of my arm when i reach for things, which it never used to do! love it!! lol

Re: Before BA
Thanks Jen & Bev
I am definitely keeping hold of my pre BA bras to try on so that it will help me know that I am actually bigger etc.
I have also lost 4 stone which is one of the reasons I'm having my BA and I have kept all my old bras from before too so I know how big they are on me know and will also be able to see the difference after in them too x

Re: Before BA
Alot of ladies use 'rice boobies' you can find some instructions of how to make the HERE
You may find using the rice boobies made to the size of your implants might help a little adjusting to your new size and possibly get your friends used to seeing you a little larger pre-op so it's not quite so noticeable post-op.
I didn't try this myself though hun, just a suggestion if it's something you might like to try. xx

Thanks Bev, it's been hard work but so worth it. I have to take a second look when I look in the mirror and still adjusting to the size difference in my head but getting there. I do look like a totally different person and can't wait to get my new boobs!!!
Thanks cookie I will give that a try as I think it might help x

Re: Before BA
Well been out and brought my first non padded bra in years lol.
I look tiny in it but i'm going to try and only wear these one's until my BA so hopefully I will see such an improvement once i've had my op instead of being used to looking big due to my huely padded bras i normally wear, well fingers crossed anyway lol x

Re: Before BA
My PS actually recommended wearing padded bras pre op to me. But I think this had more to do with the idea of people noticing! So if you don't want it to be obvious or don't want people noticing you've had them done then stick to your gel bras!
Whatever you decide, I'm sure that the gel bras will not even give you half the satisfaction of knowing your (soon to be) actual boobs are big. I think it's one thing to 'feel'/ 'look' big and another to know you are actually big. If that makes sense?
See how you feel without the gel, and if you really don't like it, you can go back to them till your op, I'm sure they won't ruin your future boobies for you! Just my opinion of course!
