Socialising/drinking after BA
Hi all
Was just wondering what you had been told about socilaising/drinking alcohol after your BA, as in how long before we can?!
Silly question I know but one i am quite curious about lol .

Re: Socialising/drinking after BA
I was told 2 weeks but I am sure all surgeons have there own opinions lol
I'm not that bothered about drinking until I was told no alcohol 2 weeks pre op and 2 weeks post op. For some reason during that time I really really needed a glass of wine, but since the 2 weeks ban has gone I'm not bothered again.
Is it a case of wanting what I couldn't have??? lol

Oh my word, i didn't know about the 2 weeks no drinking before BA!!!! Lol.
I think you're right once you are told you can't do something you want to do it even more lol.
I am meeting the Cosmetic Nurse on Thursday to go through these types of questions so will ask her too x

Re: Socialising/drinking after BA
I bet you can't Sian.
Your boobs look amazing by the way!! Are you pleased with them?
I received my letter from my surgeon yesterday and he has recommended 295cc unders with MHP and my pre op size is the same as yours was so hoping they look as good.

Re: Socialising/drinking after BA
My post op info says no alcohol for 2 hours after the op! I went out after one week and only had two pints. First proper night out was two weeks post op - got fairly drunk and was fine! Xx

If you've had a drink within the 2 weeks before your BA would they be likely to re-schedule your operation date do you think?

Re: Socialising/drinking after BA
I had the op on a Saturday and the following Friday had a few glasses of wine!...Im a lush, i cant help it!!
My theory is Jesus turned water into wine so it cant be that bad for you!!
But on a serious note, if your worried ask your PS.

Re: Socialising/drinking after BA
My surgeon said "get as drunk as a skunk at the very first chance you have Yettiricey." He then said "you deserve to be merry and dance around your conservatory to old 80's songs"
Well at least that's what I think he said!!!! Mind you it may have been a dream coz I've been having some right strange ones lately Oh I'm all confused now!

Thanks Karen, i wish i'd gone bigger but its still early days, hopefully the fluff fairy will bring me a nice present when she comes to visit
have you had a chance to try different sized implants and think that would be a good size for you? What sort of cup size are you aiming for? xx

Re: Socialising/drinking after BA
I'm ok thanks hun. Last night I was soooo tired. I keep wondering if being Sooooo tired is part of the recovery coz by about 1pm in the afternoon I'm like an old granny needing a little kip (good job I work from home coz I think they'd have something to say about it in the office)
I've had a strange pain in my back going through to my chest the past couple of days but I think that's just bad posture so I'm trying to sit upright more.
Oh I've just seen you have a wedding ticker how lovely. You're going to look very lovely now you got new boobies

Re: Socialising/drinking after BA
Fingers crossed for you Sian but they look amazing!
When I had my first consultation the nurse that helps with sizing wasn't available as there was an emergency so my PS done it but said she would do it much better so I have an appointment with her on Thursday.
I thought he had said 310cc so going to take a camera and take pics so I can get some idea of what they will look like.
I want them to look quite natural but would like to be a d cup x
