Hello lovely ladies!

I went bra shopping today for the first times since my original bra shopping trip at 6 weeks post op... I cant believe how long I waited to get more bras, but truthfully taking the time to try on bra after bra just doesnt work with my hyperactive two-year old in tow.

Anyway I went to the same shop as before and ended up buying 3 bras, one is the exact same as one I already bought just a new color... AND SIZE!!!! dance
I was a 10F Aussie 32G UK but today I am wearing a 10G Aussie 32H :boobchick:

I had suspected that I had fluffed and gotten bigger at around the 3-4 mo post op and today it has been confirmed my girls have dropped, settled and gotten bigger! yahoo

Thanks ladies, I did know that they had filled out, as my old bras were starting to overflow, and early in my recovery I had a lot of boob greed where now I am quite happy with my boobs and there size. I know that the size sounds huge but on me I truly dont think they look as big as they sound.

Hey hun, fluffing is when the implants settle into their pockets, as the swelling subsides, the skin and muscles stretch allowing for the implant to be to its full potential... Usually in the early post op days the implant is tight and firm and sits high up giving a lot of upper pole fullness... as they heal and "Fluff" they fill out underneath and drop a bit... and with that there is sometimes size increase... its not a massive change in size, but enough for me to feel more supported in a larger bra yipee

When you decided on your size, did you have photos to show your ps? Do you feel confident that your ps understood the look you wanted, if so, I am sure that they wont be in your face big. Also, with fluffing they may get a bit bigger, but they definately become more natural looking!

See?!?! This is why I am confused that the nurse told me yest I will lose 20% of the size I have now when they've settled? I have on a 34dd but she says I need an e for now, but will only be a c/d at the end of it! argh boob greed already!!

Your nurse sounds like she hasn't got a clue!! You won't loose size Hun if anything as your new boobs settle they will get fuller and more natural looking with the lower pole filling out nicely, it's just a matter of time and patience I am afraid!

525cc is a fair size implant Hun and I would put money on you being a 34F when your in proper bra's, don't forget sports bra's are not a good guide to actual size they are ment for support and so you wear whatever size gives your new boobs the best 'hug' this very often means 1 / 2 sizes smaller than you actually are.

I think that you will possibly loose size arond the band due to swelling so you may end up in a 32 but I truly dont think you will loose size on the acutual boob, and they may like me become fuller! Dont worry I dont think that nurse is right at all! My prediction is if you are in a 34E sports bra, is that by the time you can get measured you end up in a 32F bra or bigger! xx

Brilliant thread Sarahdawn. I never showed anyone my boobs, ever. My bf's have never seen them, I mastered the art of bringing my arms down over them in a nanosecond if I felt someone going there lol! Now I am happy to show your girls my pre-op pics as I know noone on here judges and that basically, those boobs are gone now.
