I'm freeeeeeee!
Hi ladies,
Just want to check in and let you know I haven't forgotten any of you! I have been busy moving house and have had loads and loads of coursework to do (am meant to be writing a report now!) and don't have internet set up in the new house until the end of the month (mutter, mutter bloody Sky grrrrr). I have tried to read some of the posts on here, just now, but there are sooo many since I was last on here, I haven't the time to reply to them all, so a collective HELLO to everyone!
update on me and the breasticles...
well, the infection has cleared up a treat, my scabby not healing bit on my incison has FINALLY healed yesterday so means I can take my children swimming yay! And I am now technically free of the dreaded sports bras, but still have to wear a non wired bra for another 4 weeks. So, in light of this, I didn't bother buying any non wired ones cos they are so hideous I'd rather save my cash and wear my sports bra for the remaining 4 weeks
I tried on a few push ups but they don't really do them in 30FF, so left it but did treat myself to a few nice wired bras in anticipation of next month and to wear if I go out (nurse has ok'd this).
Boobs are changing daily, one day they'll be symmetrical, the next wonky again, one day look HUGE, the next normal... I've given up on being neurotic... what will be will be and they look fab to me! Just can't wait for them to move as they are still non jiggly and completely stuck on, but they do squidge slightly
Anyway, will def be catching up properly soon once all my work is done.
I hope all you girls who have recently had BA's are doing well and those who are waiting, good luck!
Mwah mwah!! xxx

Re: I'm freeeeeeee!
So pleased to read the infection has cleared sweetheart.
Just one thing... Has your surgeon give you the OK to use a public swimming pool hun?
The only reason I ask is because when using a public pool you also have to be aware that people using them often have no consideration for any of the other users and they might have all sorts of infections that could be picked up in a fresh scar and as you've just gotten over one infection babe, well, I'm just concerned for you sweetie.
If after examining you your surgeon has given you the green light to use public pools then all should be fine babe, but I just thought I'd mention just incase. xx
