Breast squeaking and farting :-S
Hey girls,
I've done a search and I have found some threads on squelchy noises that breasts makes but it doesn't quite sound like the same issue I have and was wondering if anyone has experienced the same.
Both breasts started making squelchy sounds after 2 weeks post op, but after a week my left one stopped making a racket, but my right continued to whine, this time changing it's tune from squelching to farting sounds, and it's loud enough for other people to hear in a quiet room! I have brought it up with my PS and he said that it's either liquid or trapped air but admits it's strange it's not gone 6 weeks post op but told me to just wait a few more months. I asked what will happen if it doesn't go away but he wouldn't talk about it, said worse comes to worse, he'll have to re-op but he won't expand talk or allow me to question it as he "doesn't want me to worry about it unnecessarily"...which annoyed me but I decided not to say anything until my next appointment...2 months away.
So after my long whinge, my question is has anyone experienced this for this long and did it go away?
I an now single and it just occured to me that if I find myself dating again I'm going to have to make sure there are random noises in the room all the time!

Awww bless your heart...
It is a normal part of the recovery to experience the noises you're hearing hun and as your surgeon explained, the most common reason for this is air and fluid within the capsule and they disperse naturally on their own.
I think although annoying, it's not worth your surgeon going into any detail that might cause you to overthink things hun, we all heal at different rates so you may well just be one of those people who is just going to take that bit longer than others (I was one of those too hun) and as your surgeon said, give it some time and see how things go.
If you're back to sleeping normally, Just a a suggestion....I know it's a right pain, but it might be helpful to get rid of the fluid, for you to go back to sleeping with your head and shoulders raised, this helps to drain the fluids so may help to quicken the process for you...
Hope it settles soon sweetie and any new dates can get to enjoy your boobs rather than listen to them LOL xx
