Sore or ill fitting bra?
I am not really in any pain but I am sore. But it is a funny soreness, sort of like I have sunburn over my skin but doesn't feel hot or anything.
I have also noticed my sports bra feels tight over the cup and my soreness is a lot worse when I have my bra on and can't wait to take it off (for my hours release each night lol)
Is this soreness normal and could it be caused by my bra?
Thanks all
xx

It all sounds normal to me hun. Alot of ladies say they have a sunburn type soreness where the skin has been stretched. Sports bras are supposed to be very supportive but you might want to try one in a bigger cupsize if it feels too tight : )

Thanks Peachy, I thought it was probably all normal but thought I would just check.

A bra expander might help to release some of the pressure you're feeling from your bra hunni, it's not at all unual for women to up in band sizes throughout their recovery, I went from a 32 band to a 36 due to the swelling, then down again as it subsided.
The sunburn sensation - Icepacks! If you don't have icepacks, a bag of frozen peas or rice will do, just place the icepack over the tops of your breasts and it really does help relieve the sensation. xx

I put cocoa butter on at first (without the vitamin e as I was told to wait 6 weeks for that) it was lovely and cooling and helped the skin. Check with your nurse first though and dont get any near the scars.

Re: Sore or ill fitting bra?
Thanks girls,
Shopping list for today:
Bra expanders
Ice packs
Coco butter (without vit E)
If I try all these things I should get some relief from it.
Jen, you are right it is worse in the evenings lol I have to close all the curtains and then I lie on the sofa braless and hope the kids dont bring any freinds round lol. My hubby has to guard the living room door at times lol

Re: Sore or ill fitting bra?
Ok, back from a bra fitting. I thought I was a 34 C but I am actually a 32 DD in one bra 32E in another make. So a few new sports bras were bought. The shop where I go is excellent in fitting. I send all my brides to be fitted there as they all come back with good fitting bras which helps no end in fitting their gowns.
Now just doing a few jobs then going to sit with some ice packs for company lol
Thanks all girls for your help, and Jen you are right it is the evenings that are worse.
Before my BA I told my surgeon I wanted implants that would look natural to my size but thought a C/D cup would be about right and that would feel huge to me to begin with. Now being measured at a DD/E I don't feel that big and I am glad I went with my surgeons advice and not my own (if you see whar I mean lol)
