Walking after BA
How soon did people wait to walk? I walked yesterday at 3 days post op and a small walk today. If I'm walking 3-5miles a day in my traintone trainers I am hoping to keep weightgain at bay! x

Re: Walking after BA
My 1st BA, I was just like you Jay, up and out walking by day 2, I felt great though and sailed through my recovery - Don't over-do things though sweetie, just slow and steady and a healthy diet is enough to maintain weight gain. xx
Re: Walking after BA
Thanks Cookie. I feel so much better this time. I can't believe it. I am getting tired so making sure I rest but siince the weather is nice I like putting on my tunes and getting out. Not overdoing things cos really don't want to put myself back. Have just been reading that the body burns more calories in recovery to heal and mend tissue. Great!
I am having a few treats tomorrow. A hot cross bun and little easter egg. Then on Wed I am going out for an italian with my friend. However, rest of the time am being good. Also going to a BBQ for wedding on Friday so hoping to eat healthily there and since I'm only 12/13days PO I am not sure i should be drinking.
Am interested to see what these boobies look like over the muscle. Getting to see them on Wednesday at my 1 week PO appt. xxx

Re: Walking after BA
Hey Jay! I also had a BA & lift, and I was noticing your avatar... are you very into fitness? I am asking because I am three weeks post op, and I am looking at transferring to the Fed. Law Enforcement field and I need to continue my training, which includes push ups and pull ups... Soory for rambling, but since your avatar is doing a push up, thought maybe we could chat about when / if you plan on starting back a rigorous fitness routine? Thanks!
