Post op pointy boobs!

I'm 2 days post op. I had 450 high profile unders. They're quite far apart and point at the minute. Is this normal? I want them to be round and more central not out to the sides :( x

You may have heard of 'cone shaped' boobs early post-op sweetness - ALL NORMAL. Post op pointy boobs! 907337

Your skin is stretched so tight around the implant and it early post-op causes these weird shaped boobs when really all you want after your surgery is perfection!.... Things will settle over time hunni, you might find they seem to change through all kinds of positions before settling into the lovely boobs you paid for.

Don't worry sweetie, time is something we all don't get told about pre-op, but it's the most important part of your recovery hunni. xx

Good advice cookie. Mine are all bandaged up and I quite like that so I don't have to look at them. Which I know probably sounds odd but this way they're super supported. x

Phew thanks. They're like cones and my nipples are just puffy and soft which is making me look like I've just grown marbles on my chest haha. I might end up sticking plasters over them just to stop them looking weird in my clothes til they've settled. I don't wanna go into public looking like madonna :P haha x

lol I had the cone boob look for a while, it does go quite quicky, dont worry :-)

I have the same thing here ... They are super stretched and more out to the sides (I described them as bonnet mirrors on on 1970's cars - showing my age) but I'm sure they will normallize in time.
Just wish they weren't feeling like they were gonna blow off my chest - they are sooo tight, pressure is immense!
Also, my righty is numb still at the side - was hilarious trying to shave nipple hairs off the other day when I couldn't even feel the razor over them :doh:

Haha my nipples are still numb. I've got another 5 and a half weeks in sports bras and found padded sports ones in peacocks today. I think that's disaster averted for me. I'd hate to go out and the world to know I'm cold without me noticing if you get my drift :P x

Hey blondeandblue, ive had a sneeky look at mine, and thye r sooo wonky and square shaped at th mo, with boobs facing outward and large gap in th middle, but im not worried in th slightest as it takes weeks/months for them to settle, so i wouldnt worry at 4days post op sweetie.xxx

I can't wait for them to settle. The nurse had a sneaky peek and said I'm gonna have an amazing cleavage once they're settled. I can't wait for them to be a bit more mobile and look like real boobs! I wanna wear tops and be able to see them in the v neck bit rather than having a flat strip between them :P x

Hey,

I can confirm that since day 1 to day 17 mine must of changed shape about 5/6 times! At first they were rock hard right up to my chin and looked totally wrong! Now they have a little movement and have settled quite a bit, i know another 2/3 weeks and they will look even better still!

The last couple of days ive started to get feeling all around the breast, my nipples are still numb tho!!
I find that i keep catching mine when im getting out of the shower or opening doors, becasue im not used to them being 'out there'!! Hysterical

Im completly in love with them already..and so is the OH although he still on the 'boob ban' and not allowed to get to grips with them yet!! x

Mine keep changing too! They're not so hard now and are really round. They have a little movement too. I did walk into a rail when I was out shopping earlier which was rather unpleasant :P 2 days and I have my follow up. Hopefully I can get all the dressings off and have a shower. I had a bath earlier with about 5cm of water in cos I can't get it wet. It's killing me! They're already worth it though :) x

So glad I found this topic - I'm only 2 days PO and they are very pointy eeek not what I imagined at all?!! Does anyone ave a pic trail I could look at to reassure me?? Xx
