Pre Op today - forgot to ask tho'
Oh it's getting sooooo real now - scared silly half the time, want it now the rest of the time
Anyway, pre-op call was today - all very basic stuff, done and dusted. Answered some questions -so pleased I can drink some water regularly, which is good. I did forget to ask though - do you have to go barefaced, no makeup or does it make a difference? I was going to ask her about Hibiscrub also, but forgot, and she never mentioned showering etc.

I had to shower at the hospital before my op but I did go bare faced and with no perfume deoderant on etc. I made sure I took my nail varnish off the night before too. So I was completely au naturel I haven't left the house like that since I was about 12. The bare skin on my face didn't know what had hit it lol x

Hey hun. I was never told about hibiscrub.
But I was told no make up, no fake tan no deo, no nail varnish etc!
So I literally showered plaited my hair and left the house with my hood up and sunglasses on(it was dark)! Haha! Xxx

I was also told absolutely nothing, no lotions or makeup anywhere on the body. (I had forgotten and out of habit lotioned my legs the night before and had to wash it off the next morning! DUH! Boy did I feel stupid.) I have never heard of hibiscrub, I was told to use Dial soap (which is antibacterial and probably similar to hibiscrub).
Lola I am sure you're goregous makeup or not!!!!

I used Transform, they didn't mention using Hibiscrub to me, however my brother-in-law being a theatre nurse advised this the best to use to help avoid infection, so I bought this from Boots and showered in it the night before and on the day of my surgery.
You'll have to be au-naturel hun, no make-up, no moisturisers, no tan, NOTHING! LOL
I don't think there are too many of us that enjoyed the naked face experience haha but it's worth the sacrifice for the sake of lovely boobs XX
