Breast Size
I am 2 and a half weeks post op and I am hoping my breast do not shrink too much more. I am 5' 10" 132 pounds, small frame, I was a A cup before now I am a small C. I am a runner and spin instructor so I was afraid to go too big. I dropped quickly as I was very saggy before. One breast has always been more swollen and had most of the bruising than the other immediately after surgery but that was also the saggier breast before my surgery as well. So on top of me hoping they don't get too much smaller, they as of now are different sizes. I am hoping because I dropped quickly and I feel like the swelling has gone down considerably and the shape after dropping has actually made my breast come forward more, I wont regret going smaller. I also think since I can only wear sports bras I might be way happier to get a normal or push up bra to achieve that sexy look when I wanted. I also hope I will get to the point where I can push them together more as they are so stiff now.. What do you girls think?

Hey CC350,
At 2 1/2 weeks you still have a lot of changing and healing to do. I am almost to 5 weeks post op, and not only is it way different than it was at 2 weeks, things are still changing. Dropping and evening out occurs over time, and each breast is like it's own separate procedure. They will heal and change at different rates and stages. I hear push up bras are heavenly when we can finally get out of the sports bras, and eventually you will be able to push them together. (I still can't get mine together if it is any consolation!)
Did you have overs or unders? The whole "drop and fluff" thing is a given for unders, but it usually takes longer (6 months). "Overs" heal differently and sometimes fluff - definitely drop quicker. I don't have them, but a lot of the ladies here do and can share with you, if yours are overs.
I don't think they will "shrink" on you, Sweetness. That shrinking perception happens when the swelling and high, tight feeling goes away and as they get softer. But your implants give them shape and volume and lift, and as my PS promised me, "Nothing can make them go away." Smile.
I am sure the ladies will have more to add. Just relax, enjoy your new boobies and let your body heal. Lots of changes to come! Xxxxxxx

Re: Breast Size
I think it's far to early to be worrying sweetheart
Whether you have unders or overs we all heal differently, but one things for sure, the resulting size and shape takes TIME.
At just 2 weeks post-op believe me babe, what you're seeing now isn't what you'll have in a couple of months time. You've LOTS of changes ahead yet sweetheart and the feeling of one breast being larger at this stage is VERY common, they need time to even out.
You mention one breast was more bruised than the other, this breast must have suffered more trauma during your surgery, so, if you think of your op as having a seperate surgery on each breast it kinda explains why one might look different to the other just now doesn't it. They are both healing at different times, one slower than the other, because one took a bit more trauma than the other.
Give yourself time hunni - you've a few months before you get the final result! xx

Re: Breast Size
Well I love this site already.
Thanks so much for the support. I am smooth round moderate plus silicone and under the muscle. Still lots of pins and needles feeling on and off that I read about as the nerves are connecting. And I am sore every now and then under my breasts like a rubber band is around me. Here's another dilema. My doctor doesn't believe in massaging, so I have been doing light massages and figuring that out on my own. Ugh! It makes sense to me to do them and my doctor said I can do them if I wanted to. I do them just not aggressively. I watched several videos on how and picked the most conservative one with the most knowledge in the instruction. Thanks again Ladies, for answering my concerns.

Re: Breast Size
Your doc doesn't believe in massage hun probably because with the new generation implants that are used today massage isn't necessary unless there is a reason, such as early capsular contracture or if the implant remains high and might need a little encouragement to rop down... other than that if you're surgeon is happy, it's perfectly fine to allow the implant to adhere to the pocket all by itself. xx
