If you were expecting your co-ordinator to be there than I think you should get back in touch with them, especially if you haven't had any aftercare advice. It varies for all of us from surgeon to surgeon and you should definately have had some guidance - even if it was to say you don't need to do anything! Some of us are told to massage, some not to, keep scars protected from the sun, ease back into exercising, that sort of thing. I would give them a call hun xx

I agree with carrie hun each surgeon has specific instructions and can differ greatly, for instance some advise massage mine does not advise massage. This may have to do with how they perform the procedure or it may just have something to do with their opinions but either way I would want specific instructions relevant to me personally. I would give them a call if you haven't got all the info xx

I would also get back into contact with your co-ordinator hun and bring it up with her, some surgeons advise massage and some don't but you definitely need to find out. It may be that everything looked fine and you dont need to do anything specific to care for them from now on but you need to find out if that is the case xx

I'm a little confused as to why you were offered to see 'before and after' pics AFTER your surgery? what to do now??? 267328 This is usually done BEFORE your surgery by the surgeon doing your op, afterall, it's their specific work you'd want to see isn't it.

You will have the new generation implants sweetness and they don't require massage at all unless there was a specific reason for your surgeon to sugest this, as your surgeon was happy with your healing and didn't request you use massage himself, I would leave your boobs alone hun.

Remember that a patient Co-ordinator has no medical experience at all sweetness - They are sales people, their job is to sell the surgery to you and seal the deal.

If you require any medical advice or need any medical attention, you CAN request to see your surgeon hun, you don't have to wait till you're a year post-op if you have any problems or concerns.

So don't worry sweetie, your surgeon said you're doing fine so just enjoy your new boobs and if you have any worries, you paid for post-op care for one year, that's what you're entitled to hun, just call and request to see the surgeon anytime you need to within that year. xx
