I got my period on the day of my BA, it came early- I've got the worst luck ever! It's fine though it doesn't affect the op so dont worry. x

Maybe you should ring your clinic and check. You have to wear paper knickers for your op, and wont be very nice for you if you cant wear tampons. I know that I wouldn't have liked to have my time of the month on top of the op and recovering for the first few days.
Good Luck with it all hun. xxx

I started my period on the morning of my op and it was fine hun. I only bleed lightly so wearing a pad didn't bother me. xxx

Yeah, it's fine babe.

As Pinkbabe said, you wont be allowed to wear a tampon during your surgery, so take a sanitary towel with you, or they will provide you with one. It's not a problem at all though. xx

I had my period when I had my op, and was allowed to use a tampon, I was also allowed to wear my own knickers. They had to be cotton though.

I have pretty bad back and tummy aches so I stayed was on the pill and didn't take the sugar pill just to make sure I didn't have to deal with PMS as the same time as all the other anxiety and pain that I would be going through
