I have an email with a date for op, for 3 weeks' time.

I'm on hols next week, my surgeon is on hols the week I get back. I was told to expect paperwork 2 weeks ago, but haven't got anything.
I rang his secretary (always an answer machine) and left a message to say I haven't heard anything/received anything yet & I go away in a week.

Then I decided "if you want something done......" so I rang Spire. I'M NOT EVEN BOOKED IN!!!!!
She hasn't sent in the booking form yet!!
I have rung her back and left another message stating the above.

Will there be anything to fill in before the op? I haven't even paid yet! There will only be a week before my surgery to sort anything out as I'll be away.
This feels ridiculous.
What did you receive or need to do when you went with Spire.
Am I panicking over nothing?

I'm really not sure what to do.
