They have admitted that it was their mistake, so you should get it at the price which you agreed on, As the meerkat would say "Simples" LOL

Re: One week to go,Transform have called with Bad news
I went with transform as a day case. I had partial unders. I was given an option of daycase or overnight. They said it was entirely my preference as to what I wished to do. I know you have to stay in for at least 6 hours following surgery though. I had my op at around noon and was home for around 7pm. I don't understand why a PS would state that they only do "overnight" unless it is just a matter of they operate much later on in the day. BTW I was perfectly fine going home in the evening. I was a bit worried at first as I thought that having unders was obviously much more uncomfortable and maybe should have stayed overnight but actually I did not start to feel any pain/discomfort until the following day when I woke up! The first 2-3 days were probably the worst but by no means terribly painful. You just have to be careful and don't overdo it. I was back to work in 6 days!!! xxx

Re: One week to go,Transform have called with Bad news
ok small update...
I got an email earlier saying that they need me to pay the extra £295 for nightcare, as they didnt quote the price I paid etc..
I've emailed them back expressing how dissapointed I'am etc, and tomorrow I'm going to call the head office in Manchester to complain.
I think I have a strong case as basically they gave me a price for the BA, with some discount and day care only. now they realise the surgeon only does nightcare ops so I have to pay more which in my eyes is the mistake of the saleswomen.
does anyone have any suggestions on what to threaten with if they dont back down?, I still want my OP but at the same time just want this done and dusted so I can relax

Just stick to your guns hun and tell them they are in the wrong none of this is your fault and they are in breach of the contract they had you sign. Companies offer discounts all the time so they can take the hit for a small amount like that or I'd be telling them I'm going elsewhere I doubt they'll call your bluff! x

Ohhh no! If its there fault you shouldn't have to pay an extra thats not very fair. Say strong and I'm sure they will do it for the original price agreed. x

Woooooo I won :) I can now relax and look forward to my new boobies, what a polarva. They admitted that the co-ordinator was wrong and should never of quoted the amount that she did, and they will honour the price. I'm so relieved I was beginning to get really stressed out. I am still going to email H/O regarding the whole procedure and how unprofessional she has been. Shall be interesting when I go to the clinic for my follow up. :-)
Thank you for your advise and support .
