Hey LL hun - just saw your pics - they look FAB! I can't believe how much they've settled in just a week! I bet you're SO pleased?
Are you feeling like a pathetic girlie with no upper body strength still? lol

Lol thank you hun.
I have to admit that I'm actually feeling fine. Not quite 100%, but I'm driving myself around and managing (just about) to reach things off of top shelves and stuff. I do still struggle to open a jar, and can't wait to be able to pick my kids up, but otherwise I'm feeling pretty hulk-esque compared to what I expected :-)

LL - just had a look. They look great. I had my dressing off yesterday and mine have been quite sore since. Can I ask you - if you rub your finger along your scar is it a bit bumpy? mine are and I am worried that they are not going to heal as thin white lines. x

Hmm, they're not bumpy hun... they're almost like one swollen bump rather than bumpy. Although I have tape on them now and they've still got dried blood around them so it's hard to tell. I do have a massive dent next to one of my incisions though, did you see it?! No idea what it is.
I can't remember... have you got dissolvable stitches in as it could just be that?
I'm sure that they will heal nicely for you though hun. I've seen some incisions that look quite full on at first, and they heal to practically invisible.

Oh, and my incisions have been quite sore since the stitches were taken out as well. If I have any tenderness left it's all in that area, whereas I couldn't even feel my incisions at first!

Did it hurt having them take the stitches out?

No, not at all. It just feels like a little pull or something, but it didn't sting or anything like that, and I'm a big wuss!! lol.

I cant be sure but when I had my c section I had a bit just like that dent you have where they had tied the knot in the stitiches and once she cut and removed it, it disappeared to nothing and healed fine so Im sure its all good. Take lots of vitamins to try to help. I am way more bruised than you for sure. Will try and take some pics tonight. OH said he would help me.

Hey LL,
Thank you very much for letting me take a look at your new girls!!
Im so glad i have found this site and we are able to look at pre/post op pics! The only ones I had seen since now were a few months post BA, so never seen how they look just after BA. And to be completly honest I had very gory images in my head of how they will look, and your pictures have proved to me that it wont be so bad. They look absolutly perfect for your size.
thanks x
