Hi girls, I'm a nineteen year old mommy, after I had my daughter my breast got kind of saggy and went from a double D to a B so I got breast augmentation this friday mamarch 4th, 2011, Im home recovering but I decided to take a peak at them yesterday in the mirror and I broke down in tears bc they look so ugly and deformed. They don't look normal, they're really swollen and I'm regretting this surgery so bad, I'm depressed and I can't believe they look this way, I'm not sure if maybe its because its only the second day of recovery but they look awful, my nipple is all the way at the bottom of my tit, and they have this weird crazy shape, has any one else gone through this? I would greatly appreciate some advice.

Everything you just mentioned is normal. Unfortunately we research all the op stuff we forget to research what happens after the op. I know cause I did exactly the same and didn't realise they could take so long to heal and look real.
But dont worry you still have all the drugs floating through your system which can make you emotional and feel sad. As for how they look, no they wont look like that for too long. Just give them time to heal.

Thank you, this really made me feel better, I really can't wait to see a change, because right now I can't even look at them in the mirror, they're scary looking

Awww Marxoxo....

It's too bad your doctor didn't warn you about these normal side effects before your surgery. It just seems so unfair not to warn you. What you are experiencing is totally normal. Misf1 has beautiful boobies so that must make you feel better. I'm 2 days post BA & things are still taking shape too. I believe I have read that this can take up to 8 weeks even. When is your followup apt? I hope it's soon just so you can go over things with your doc.

Wishing you all the best with your recovery.

Alien looking is exactly how mine look, and I agree her breast are really nice so that most definitely makes me feel better, and I do find it unfair that my surgeon didn't go over this with me, but I guess its my fault as well for not doing any type of research as to what it me be like after my surgery, my next appointment is on friday, I'm looking forward to discuss this issue with him, & thanks for you help (: and you said you were 2 days post BA, do yours look weird tooo ?

Don't fret too much hun, as the others have said, it is completely normal and I had one of my nips pointing down towards the ground and the other one looked as if it was trying to look under my armpit - looked completely pie-eyed LOL. But after a couple of weeks they slowly swivelled until they both centred up, just pointing very slightly down now.
The other effect of the GA is what is commonly referred to by the girls here as "boobie blues" which kicks in at Day 3 or Day 4 and which generally lasts for a day or two and then you will start to feel better. This makes you feel very emotional and teary and a little depressed Not everybody is affected in this way, you are just one of the unfortunate ones.
Things will improve for you gradually over the next couple of weeks - but it can take up to a year before they are absolutely fully settled.
Good luck hunnie

Marxoxo,

Mother Carol always swoops in and knows exactly what to say! We're lucky girls on this site!

As for my 'girls' they look a little rough for sure. They are very tender and swollen. My sternum is very uncomfortable and bruised. My nipples definitely look a little wild but I can see how things are going to settle - which for me is doing well because I'm the worlds most impatient girl. I have been taking a picture every day so I can see my progress. This seems to be keeping my mind calm so maybe try that too. This is also something you can take with you to your follow up. Anything to make your doctor more efficient, right?

i think were all impatient hun so no worries there.
i think we all expect nice new boobs right away and shouldnt.
i also feel the same as you right now and im 3 1/2 weeks post op, im trying not to let it get the best of me, and waiting to see what my PS says when i go see him wednesday. I have heard of another girl on here mention the bathroom issue. specially since you are stressed i just assume its your GA and stress , which causes your bowels to not function as normal so as hard as it may be, relax as much as you can, eat food thats makes you have to go #2, and hopefully your breasts settle to a desirable look, if not, you can always inquire with your ps and let them know your not happy and what you expected and go from there, but its much to soon n healing to worry k hun...

Hi 17 days post BA and mine too looked very odd at first but they are now settling down nicely I know it's scary but I'm sure in the coming weeks you'll love them as for the number 2 toilet issue it's quite common after GA and pain killers to get constipated I'd take something ( like senokot or fybergel ) before it gets too bad as this will just make you feel worse . I too had this problem , not nice . I really hope you feel better soon

Ow hun we all get to this point after having our boobs done. You look in the mirror and exspect to see your new perfect boobs then get a shock as they look Nothin like you wanted them to!.....Its all totally normal, with all the swelling and trauma your poor bobbies have been through they need time to heal, settle and "drop".
You said that your nipples are really low down, nearly at the bottom off your boob but this will change.....PS place implants high up with most the implant aboved your nipple and this is because over the next few months as the heal and the tissue starts to losen up you implants will drop dowm and 'fill' out the bottome part off your boobs more giving your your perfect boobs!

In the 1st 6 months after your op you will notice alot of changes with your boobs in size, shape and where the implant sits on your chest. You might also notice one boob heals and drops quicker then the other....this is all totally normal so try not to worry if this happens to you.

If you look at my avvy you can see ruffly what my boobs are shaped and look like now but stragight after my op was a differnt story, they were high up on my chest, compact into a odd shape and stuck out like two bullet heads! not at all what I wanted but in time they changed and dropped into a nice shape and position...and I can finally say I LOVE them!

Im time you will love your new boobs to! Hug

And as for the NO 2......the pain medication causes constipation alog with the G.A making your bowel go to sleep it takes time for it all to start to wake up and work again. If you still feel bad and cant goin after a week or so Id go to the G.P and see if he could change ytour pain killers to somethin that will not cause constipation :good:

Hope this helps

I feel really blessed to have came across this site, thanks a lot girls, & crystal, the way you described your breasts is the same way mine look, very high almost touching that bone by the neck & they look like bullets pointing out, very disturbing image to look at, that's why I haven't looked at them anymore bc I'm tired of breaking down into tears, but I truly believe that my boobs will look better in time thanks to all of your advices :} !

Hey elleblondie, today I'm definitely feeling better and learning to understand that patience is a virtue, (: they're still not looking good but for sure with time they will, I know its hard to stay patient, but right now that's the only thing we can be, just hang in there, & what problem are you having the constipation as well ?

Hey elleblondie, this is kinda off subject but I read that you have gotten 400cc gel implants. Im planning on getting 410cc gels too but Im nervous that they might be too big for me. My PS said they should be a great size but I want mine to look natural and not all "porn style" you know what I mean?? THose girls look great and sexy but Im looking for a natural look. Im 5'6 145lbs. Hope you can help

You have similar stats to me hun (see under my avatar and also my signature)
I have ended up as a DD (at the moment) but they could fluff a little more to an E once the muscle relaxes.
What size are you aiming for hun??

Post by carol_s 8th March 2011, 3:38 pm

In all honesty, I don't really know hun - there are so many factors to consider, there are things like implant diameter, implant projection your own breast width diameter, your skin thickness, your existing breast mass and tissue, the placement your surgeon is doing (overs/unders/partials) and the shape of the implants he will be using (rounds or anatomicals). It is like trying to predict the result of next week's lottery - you will see that girls with fairly closely matched stats and having the same ccs implant can be as much as 3 or 4 cup sizes different after their operations.
The only person who will have any real idea will be your surgeon - they have generally had years of experience and once having seen your body shape, size and everything else will be able to judge what size to give you to get you to your desired shape and cup size.
Hopefully when you discussed everything with him before your surgery, he took everything into consideration.
If my life depended on me giving you an answer, I would say, that after the initial swell has subsided, you will end up a large D or small DD.

I'm not a great help with the sizing issue but I can tell you that a D cup is really not as big as you think hunnie...I went from a B cup and am now a DD but they don't look anything like I imagined a D cup would look.... shrug

And I love them..... dance

Thanks girls!! Funny that you said that Angie because my boy friend keeps tell me "Holly, you are not a skinny thinny girl, (not in a mean way) So that size wont look big on you, if you put a 400cc implants on a 110 5'1 girl then she will look sooo big." So I understnad who you girls mean, I guess since Im so small right now I couldnt imagine having bigger boobies.
