hey girls, im sure this has been written about before but can find it through search. ive read alot about it and there seems to be some who said they fluffed and went up in cup size and others that said they didnt. does it only apply for girls who are obviously really high and tight in the beginning. i got unders but almost 2 weeks post op and mine were never as high and really round like u see some peoples. i got 210 and 175 so maybe its cuz they arent really big implants?

do u think i will fluff? or is what i have now, what i will be like in the end? i feel like ive gone down, probably just the swelling, but im stil fitting into my c bra, i went from a large A/small B and wanted to be a full c but im definitely not a full c.

who fluffed? when (ie number of weeks/months)? and did u increase in size (how much?)

I did fluff about 7 months post op by one cup size. But my boobs didn't look the same from month to month. I really wouldn't worry. It takes a year to see the end results. What you have now wont be the boobs you have in a few months. But u may or may not change in cup size. A surgeon cannot guarantee what size you will be it's just impossible.

Fluffing; my clinic nurse explained it to me this way:

When you initially have the implant inserted the muscles and skin contract around them. Once it all gets used to the implant being under the skin (and under the muscle if appropriate) the skin and muscle relax and the implant expands and softens.

A good analogy is, imagine you have a ball of cotton wool in your hand. Squeeze your hand as tight as it goes. It’s a teeny little ball. Well that is what your implant is like when you have it put in. When you release your hand, it "fluffs" out and gets bigger. That again is something similar to what your implant does.

Obviously there will be variables such as how big your muscle is, how adaptable your body is, how much elasticity your skin has and so on but most women who have an implant will "drop and fluff".

I fluffed at about 6 weeks, my PS said I would achieve a full C/small D but I'm a DD, which is great as far as I'm concerned.... dance

Hi hun,i think i fluffed a bit at about 3 months,but im not sure if they just dropped and went into a more natural position,because i had to start buying all D bras instead of C's because my nipples oked of the top of them!x
