Deflated Allergan Natrelle
I had breast augmentation 34 a-b, 34C-D 300cc, in May 2009, right one deflated in 9 months, and the surgeon replaced it free of charge. The right one seemed great until this morning Feb 2011 while changing out of my pj I noticed it deflated. Need it replaced. Bummer!!

How can they deflate?
Good luck having the other one replaced.

Re: Deflated Allergan Natrelle
I suppose the proper vocabulary is rupture...Not sure how it ruptured, but I noticed it this morning when I was changing out of my pj's it was signifiantly smaller...I had them placed under the muscle, and I was lifting heavy items due to my work a couple of days ago, but less then 50 pounds. I asked my surgeon about the it and they said it was just defective. He replace my left one last year in Jan 2010 with the same problem.

Re: Deflated Allergan Natrelle
Did you have the Saline implants hun? It's awful you have suffered this once let alone twice.
Re: Deflated Allergan Natrelle
I go under the knife this Friday, surgeon is going to replace them for free, and I really don't like anesthesia. It makes me so sick for a couple of days after the procedure. I know I'm a wimp!! It will be replaced just fine, and it will look like it did in the beginning...I hate the fact that I had to walk around the world with a silicon bra padding for over a week...It sucked!!! I was feeling really down on myself, and my poor boyfriend felt my pain...Lack of interest from the rupture. Next week will be a better week, thank god...I love my 300cc's I want them back!

Re: Deflated Allergan Natrelle
Thats good news hun that they are replacing them for free, sorry you have to go through another operation and the feeling sick part, are you having silicone or saline this time around?
Re: Deflated Allergan Natrelle
Since I'm replacing only one I need to stick to the saline, last year Jan 2009 the first one ruptured. I replaced it with the same exact one. Saline...I really want the silicone, they seem to be softer to touch, but glad I don't have to deal with a silicone breast rupturing inside of me...That might be more headache then I need.

Re: Deflated Allergan Natrelle
Well to tell you the truth hun, it would probably be less of a headache than 2 re-ops in 2 years!!!!
Silicone ones are cohesive, so very unlikely to spread if it did rupture, it should just stay in place inside the implant/pocket in the breast. Obviously, as you know, when a saline one ruptures it deflates as the body absorbs the saline.
I know you hate going under the knife, but it may be worth asking your PS if you could get a re-op to change to silicone seeing as you seem prone to rupture with the saline ones xx
