No nipple sensation at all!!!
Hi girl's just wondered how long it has taken you girlies that lost nipple sensation, for it to come back? I know there is a small chance it might not ( which i'm really hoping won't happen ).

Re: No nipple sensation at all!!!
Hey Girls, In response to nipple sensitvity, I am just over 4years post op and never regained the sensitivity in my nipples or at the bottom of my breasts...Surgeon's do say that some girls may lose feeling permanantly and some get the feeling back, guess i was one of them that lost all feeling wierdly numb. Doesn't bother me now but did at first just got used to it.. I did have 380cc unders 32a-32d. Will be getting a 2nd BA soon and will no doubt be numb after that as well.. xxxx

Hey Jolene, I was a bit like that at first but soon got used to it. I never had very sensitive nipples to begin with so maybe thats why i lost sensitivity they do still react to the cold but thats about it..
Its just a waiting game, you are only early days after your BA!!!!
Good luck hun and i do hope the feeling returns for you

Re: No nipple sensation at all!!!
I've still got some numbness underneath on my left boob but I was told the same, it may come back, it may not...
My nipples are different story, they were really HYPER sensitive initially but that is calming down a little now. Sometimes they were so sensitive I often wished I had lost all feeling in them....Ouch!!!
Hopefully your feeling will return in time but it can take up to a year for that to happen. Hope your healing well apart from that babes..x

I had very sensitive nipples before, if i'm honest that was my little thing i loved ( in the bedroom lol ), so it really would be tragic for me lol xxxxxxx

Ah wish i had some feeling!!! I'm totally numb from nipple down to scar!!!! But i'm slowly getting feeling back at the top as the swelling went, it's funny i touch them and it's like i'm touching someone else's boobies as i can't feel it ha ha xxxxxxxx

Re: No nipple sensation at all!!!
I really hope so, i know in some cases some people don't.
I think because my boobs are doing so well, dropping, healing etc it's like the only thing i have to worry about so i'm concentrating on it and it really is a major thing for me in the bedroom ( sorry if to much info, ha ha ).
I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best, i'm sure i'll inform you all when it comes back he he, just not looking forward to waiting maybe a year!!!!!!!!!
xxxxxxxx

Re: No nipple sensation at all!!!
I wouldn't worry unduly at this moment in time hunnie, although I am around 11 weeks post op now, I don't have anywhere near the sensation that I once had. I asked one of our resident surgeons about this ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) and he saidthat loss of sensation was normal - other ladies on here have said that it can take a year (or even slightly longer) to get nipple sensitivity back. Apparently it is rare to lose it altogether.

Re: No nipple sensation at all!!!
So do I sweetheart - but if I really did have to choose between the two, I'd think I'd go for big boobies every time as there are other 'sweet' spots that can be used :teehee:
