Breastfeeding with a BA?
Hello ladies,
I was wondering how many of you have experienced breastfeeding with a BA? I currently have no children but would like to start having them when I reach 25/26. How have you found breastfeeding? Are you still able to? I'm going for a straightforward BA, over the muscle. I've been told by my surgeon that it should be possible to but of course that means there is a chance I wouldn't be able to. Just curious to see how others have found it.
Thanks girls x

Re: Breastfeeding with a BA?
Someone on the forum has just a baby a few weeks ago and started off breast feeding after having a BA, a year or so ago - not sure if she is still breast feeding or whether she has unders or overs.

I haven't had a baby but I hope to breast feed when I do. Depending on your incision, the ability to breast feed should not be hindered by having implants, no matter whether they are overs or unders.

My friend BF twins exclusively for 3 months. She had her BA done 18 months prior- anatomical unders. Her milk supply was great. They didn't seem to change the look of her boobs at all. Not sure if she would have sagged if she had BF for a longer period though.

Re: Breastfeeding with a BA?
i personally waited till after having my children, but a good friend of mine has recently had a baby after having implants, and she managed a month of breastfeeding this time round, but found it a lot more painful than she did with her previous child (before implants) because of the increased nipple sensitivity that is common after having a BA
