Shrinking boobs :(

This is esp for my December buddies who had their op around the same time as me but any other advice would be very welcome. You may remember I posted about the nightmare bra shopping trip at 6 weeks, well the nightmare is ongoing....

I swear my boobs have shrunk again in the last 2 weeks. I bought two bras at 6 weeks (once given the go-ahead) in a 34DD and they fitted nicely. I ordered a Freya bra online in the sale, 34DD and it's gappy at the top of the cup. :tears: The band seems huge too which is weird as there's no way I'm a 32 as I have put on weight since my op. The bra looks nice on, but in clothes I look no different to the 34C bra I was wearing pre-op (apart from them roughly being the same size). Naked they look almost droopy, and they are very soft so it's not a case of needing to drop & settle. I had 210/330cc overs, and although I know only unders 'fluff' I didn't think overs could shrink? I have seen girls having small implants but gaining at least 2-3 cup sizes so am I just unlucky? It's not like I could have gone bigger as my smaller side was tuburous and I was lucky he got the 330cc in there at all.

I was so happy with them 2 weeks ago and now I am so upset I can't even look at them

dont go by the size of the bra, Ive got freya bras in the same size, some fit and some dont. Theyre a bit hit and miss and always need trying on first. Doesnt mean theyve shrunk.
have you actually taken your measurements at any point to see?

FWIW, i was wearing a 34D bra the other day and it fitted fine, yet im actually a 30F, which is roughly the same, just a different band size, so its not that small

Thanks Abbie. I just uploaded 5 new pictures to my picturetrail account so you can see. I totally know what you mean about differet bras being different sizes as I know they're the same as clothes!

I just measured and yes they're smaller by 1.5" across the fullest part and 0.5" smaller around the band which is probably just because I'm not swollen anymore. So I'm not imagining it, they have shrunk!

I just looked at your pics and your new bra looks like it does fit to me, and your boobs definitely dont look tiny! I think what may have happened is that the implant has settled, so you've lost some of the fullness at the top. Although your new bra is very pretty it doesnt look designed to give much umph!

I have resigned myself to the fact that to get the effect I want I need to get the right bra....I still havent found it yet!

Maybe we'll both have to take a little more time and care when selecting bras to make sure they give the most flattering results.

Iv been tormenting myself looking at other womens photos. I couldnt seem to understand how they all looked so big, im going with the fact its the bras they are wearing.

Laure & Jem I think you're right. They definitely look better in the wonderbra I have. But Laura yours look amazing, they couldn't not at that size! Maybe it's just that we get used to them?

But the proof is in the measuring, they are smaller than they were 3 weeks ago :tears:

It may be human error on the measuring hun not everytime its going to be 100% the same as last time if you get me?

Or maybe they have just settled & are fuller in other areas?

i like the bra, and your boobs have evened up so much now. Incredible. Theyre looking fab.
Your bra looks like it could fit better just by adjusting the straps. Doesnt look too baggy on the cups. Its not a cleavage bra though, theres only one or two freya ones that actually are. Freya deco is supposed to be good for cleavage

Thanks Abbie. When I look at the before pics I *know* they look great in comparison, though I do think they weren't as bad as the before pictures looked! I would love to see the pictures the surgeon has taken.

I wasn't worried about the cleavage in this bra, more like the fact it makes them look so small. The leopard bra in my avatar isn't a cleavage or padded bra, but makes them look much bigger!

I tried a Deco bra - it just didn't fit me no matter what size I tried. I tried a 34DD, it was so huge on the cups I laughed. The 34D was the same 32D was too small around the band...so I gave up! I might try again now they've got softer again.

Laura - I measured them with the same measuring tape in the same places. Honestly they are smaller!! I need to go bra shopping yet again....URGH!

At least your allowed to wear proper bras lol

Agree with Abbie's wise words about different bras and different makes measuring different sizes. Try to find a specialist lingerie shop as I don't think chain store departments have a clue. Sending you a big hug and just keep looking at your before photos. xx
