Hiya hunnie,
Glad you came through everything OK - but don't overdo it, the more you rest up, the quicker your recovery time will be.
............ and don't worry about the spelling, you should see some of the stuff some of us come out with immediately after the GA :heehee:
xx

Unfortunately I can't advise you hun as I was one of the very fortunate ones - I didn't have any pain (just soreness) and I was completely off meds after the first night.
Hope everything starts to ease off soon for you though

glad it all went well. What did you have? overs or unders? and what size did you get?
I would avoid ibuprofen or anything aspiriny as it can make you bleed

im currently taking my meds and tylenol. they seem to be working... still tightness and sore but thats expected. but they sent my husband to buy ibuprofen and were wondering why now.... i went under the muscle (submuscular) 400cc silicone, mentor brand, high profile.

Kaboobie!
I haven't been on this forum for a few days so I totally missed sending you my support. I read that you went to the mall a few hours after - that's sooo funny! I think those meds maybe had quite the effect on you. Hahaha.
I hope you are feeling well though. I'm sure you are back with your daughter and I'm happy to hear that. My bestie lives in Nova Scotia - that darn weather really doesn't do much for my hair!
Anyway, I am thinking of you and wishing you all great things with your recovery.
xoxox,
Elle

Re: Good Luck Kaboobie - BA Day Thurs 10th Feb
You can take Ibuprofen 800 MG per 8 hours, so twice daily. You don't have to worry about thinning the blood anymore since your surgery is over. Tylenol unless mixed with oxycodone isn't really going to do anything. So try the Ibuprofen (Motrin) 800 MG

Re: Good Luck Kaboobie - BA Day Thurs 10th Feb
i took the dressings off today, just the steri strips on, and seen what my PS mentioned, that i also have two incisions at either side/under my breast which was not discuess as i was getting areola incision to avoid incisions elsewhere so im a tad emotional today and upset that it wasnt discussed and he just did it and didnt explain why, which maybe would have made me feel better about it. Also, one seems bigger than the other a per my husband, so im a bit emotional about that too, but i know i need ime for them to heal so im trying not to let it bother me. Never realized how emotional id feel after my BA, so many mixed feelings and its taking a toll on me ... pain however isnt too bad today.. so thats a good thing i guess...
