Implants before or after pregnancy?)
I'm in a predicament! I'm 38 & still not had kids but am thinking about trying this year. I am also at a stage where I would love to get implants as my breasts have dropped a bit from weight gain, age etc... I am in a situation now where I can have the op & have time to recover without any stress & I don't have $ issues... If I wait till after babies (assuming that I get pregnant quickly :-/) I prob won't get implants til my 40's... Can anyone who had implants pre pregnancy let me know how they changed after BF and has anyone been pregnant within the 1st year of having implants???

Re: Implants before or after pregnancy?)
Hiya - I had implants 10 years before I had our first baby a combination of the implants being old and the effects pregnancy had on my breasts dramatically changed how they looked. My breasts increased massively in pregnancy and when my milk came in - well they were huge!! I managed to breastfeed which was all good but when I stopped and my boobs went back to their pre-pregnancy state I had lost a lot of breast volume/tissue, I developed CC but this doesn't mean everyone who has implants then has a baby will!! I decided to complete our family BEFORE getting boobjob#2 and I am so pleased I did.
Pregnancy may not change your breasts as much as mine did - we are all different but as your asking - I would have your baby(babies) and then book in for the boob job!! x

i didnt have implants before pregnancy, but my breasts increased 5 cup sizes and then shrank back down again, with horrific stretching and sagging as a result.
You just cant predict if this will happen to you, and id have been even more gutted if id just paid 4k a few months earlier before this happened. Best save your money and then get them fixed after if necessary

Re: Implants before or after pregnancy?)
I've just had my BA and one of my friends commented that I bet I wish I had them done years ago. I can honestly say I don't! I was unhappy with my small boobs, but after breastfeeding 2 kids they were non-existent. Now they are all mine, money well spent! You've waiting until now, I would advise having your family first (you may be pleasantly surprised at how great your boobs look in pregancy) and then get your BA. If you don't have money issues right now, put the money aside and don't touch it - not even for nursery furniture!

I would say for the sake of a few years id wait.If you saw a P.S they would also ask if you plan to have kids in the near future & most say to wait till after you have had children.
Pregnancy had quite a effect on breast tissue, you would end up gutted if you only had your new boobs a year or 2 & then needed a re-op due to pregnancy changes....wouldnt be as bad if you were going to have kids alot further down the line as you would have got your moneys worth .
Im 28 now & have wanted a B.A since I was 15.....I was advised to get having all my kiddies out the way beofre having a B.A so 4 kiddies later I finally have my perfect boobs & Im hoping they will stay that way now :teehee:

I would hold off until you have kids. My boobs increased 2/3 cup sizes in pregnancy and then shrank to 2 cup sizes smaller than they were in the first place which resulted in horrible sagging. Pregnancy has a different affect on different people's breasts but I'd say better safe than sorry.
