Boobilicious Jolene!!! That's super news. Well done for getting through pre-op famine. 5 jugs of water haha.
PS called in last night and was very happy - If he's happy I am too. I haven't had a chance to really check then out Properly but they far apart & sitting high. It's almost 3:30am here and I've just woken up. I've had broken sleep due to leg pumps but am feeling fine. I haven't woken up from pain & haven't had any meds since 8pm last night. Yay!
Hayley - I hope you're super excited and almost set to go. Enjoy yr day. Wooo hooo boobies, here you come!! :cheerlead:

Hey girls,
The draining calmed down thank goodness, I just needed rest, the drugs they had given me where making me go at 100 miles an hour lol which wasn't helping!!! After a few hours rest everything is as it should be apart from I'm waking every two hours for the loo!!!!!
I'll get the nurse to take some pics for me after she takes drains out ( ouch, not looking forward to this ), then I can let you all have a peek xxxxxxx

Great news about your drains Jolene. You must be relieved. My nurse asked me to take a few deep breaths and they were out - no pain.
Yep - they are fembots! I'll get a few photos later today. They don't look big but they feel heaps fuller around the bottom half. I guess I'm waiting for muscles to stretch and release. I was disappointed when I first looked down but they are sitting high - just need some patience.
Boobie Sisters - Thank you for all the good luck and congrats message

Oh no! I had drains when I had my gall bladder removed, so this is something I am very anxious about. At least on the positive side, you would rather all that fluid out than inside you.
Hope your pleased with your new additions xxx

Ha ha carrie that's what nurse said, I lost half pint of blood through one drain, they said I've ruptured vein cos I won't stay still, I hate having nothing to do!!!! But I am now resting after all that bleeding and being sent home with drains I really want them out Sunday so need to keep still xxxx

I was also dreading the drains because it was a horrible experience when they were removed after I had my gall bladder removed. Honestly it was fine after my ba, I didn't feel anything. So don't worry hun. xxx

Re: good luck to deflated, mima & Jolene1984
Thanks Alfie, I had a chat with my surgeon about it, I said he would have to knock me back out to remove them. He said he only uses them in approx 1 in 20 patients, so only if you need them, not as standard. He also said gall bladder ones hurt so much more than breast tissue ones as there is alot less feeling in the boob compared to your stomach. So feel quite reassured to have your opinion too, having actually experienced both. :) Thank you xx

I had drains, when the nurse took them out, it was just a tugging sensation, no pain - hopefully it will be the same for you. xx
